Don't know much about our opponent, McKinley. Looks like they have 6 wins over teams with a combined total of 6 wins, 2 each over Tara, Woodlawn BR, and Central BR. Don't know how strong the other teams that they played are, but it will be tough to score on us. Have a really fast defense that is very aggressive. If my midfield plays as well as they have in recent games and my leading scorer is over the flu, we should be good. Anybody willing to share any information on McKinley is welcome to do so.

Haven't been over there, but I'm sure Tinsley will be wet. With Parkway playing at 4, they will probably get the field that is in the best shape and we'll get the 2nd best.

McKinley is an up and coming program. I know their coach and she is very committed to growing that program. That being said, their 6 wins are against very poor competition. Benton should handle them fairly easily, but watch out for McKinley in coming years.

Back on the subject on Benton/McKinley. How did Benton's record end up looking? I was told their wins in district were against poor competition. However, my sources were not very reliable as they know little about schools and athletics in that area.

Benton has a good record but they are in a very weak district. We have not played them, but I understand they are pretty athletic. They have one girl that I know of, that plays year round. Not sure about any others.

Not sure about any others. Pretty fair assessment. I actually have 2 girls that play DI and one of Mark's premier players. We are really fast and physical, but most of my girls have limited experience outside of HS. Several played in CABOSA rec. league this fall and it helped tremendously. Looking forward to carrying the program to the next level in the coming years.

I'm sure she brings alot of skill and leadership to your team. Good luck coach.

atleast you live up to your name. Kinda hard to talk smack about a first round bye! Our Girls earned and are looking forward to playing at home next week. Thanks for the support! Knew you had a bye, just baiting you! I know, that's wrong but you do have passion for your team that is easy to draw out. I know several of your Lady Cavs and yes they worked hard to get the bye and I wish the best for them!

I figured you were. The passion comes from seing these girls grow stronger as a team and have the love and respect for each other on and off the field. When you have such a big age differnece between our team its awesome for our younger girls to see the older ones be "godly" role models. Thanks again for the support!

Everyone: please disregard what was said about Woodlawn on this account. I left my account up and someone else was playing on it. I asked them to watch for any replies about Benton. They are a very respectable team, with an extremely respectable coach. I wish the best of luck to everyone in playoffs and am praying for good referees for everyone!
