from cenlacoach on the D-III bracket thread --
I will go on record that this should be pursued. Tomorrow and Friday are not just miserable, but pose a HAZARD for those travelling. SATURDAY IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY -- CLEAR SKIES AND A HIGH OF 50 --- DUHHHHHHHHHH?!

I have contacted the LHSAA tonight (Wednesday). All principals have received an email detailing the process to move a girls game past Friday. It essentially involves the principal sending Mrs. McCullough an email from both school saying that they agree (BECAUSE OF THE INCLEMENT WEATHER CAUSING SAFETY ISSUES) to move the game back one day. Coaches and schools SHOULD NOT use rule 18.6.5 to simply move the game as a matter of convenience. The game should be scheduled on a day to day basis.
My advice is after your principal send the email, make sure he or she gets confirmation that the schedule change is approved.
Mrs. McCullough is very aware of the safety concerns for the athletes and the spectators. If anyone needs any help with this, please don't hesitate to contact me.
