In regards to Lakeshore vs. Neville.....Neville came out ahead; however, the Titans truly gave Neville an awakening. Many of the Neville parents were very impressed with the Titans competitive nature. Again, not bad for 1 junior and the rest - sophomores and freshmans. Undefeated district champs and quarter-finalists!!

I'd sure like to be able to see the TC/St. Louis game. I'll bet it's going to be a war. Wish I could make the trip.

wow. what happened in the 2nd half? Neville came out in the second half just as strong as the first, but Vandy was able to create more opportunities and the finishing got better from the first half. Neville played an amazing game. Congrats to them on a great season!

Vandebilt did a better job finishing in the 2nd half.Had some good opportunities in the 1st half that hit the post or were just wide.Vandebilt's defense stepped up,and didn't allow Neville to get any rythm going, and limited Neville's scoring opportunities.Vandebilt's constant pressure in their attacking 3rd finally wore down the Neville defense.

Just got back to town from the Vandy/Neville game. I was very impressed with Vandy last night. They were very skilled and agressive. After watching Neville all season, we always were the team that played very aggressively but that was just not how last night went. We started both halves well but Vandy eventually took control and had us on our heels most of the game. I think Neville just wore down as Vandy kept the pressure on. I believe the score was still 2 to 0 with 11 minutes to go when Vandy got 3 rapid goals in the next 6 minutes with a free kick and a couple balls that bounced around the box and were poked in.
Congrats to Vandy and we are pulling for you to win state.
As an aside to the Vandy faithful, thankyou for taking care of our girls and coaches while in houma with the food, room and drinks. It was much appreciated and a class act. Also thankyou for leaving the lights on for a long time after the game as we had a large great class of seniors we all said goodbye. Anyone on this board who's had a child play their last game knows how hard that is.
