I figured it is only fair that if someone wants to blame the officials for a loss, that there should be the opportunity for those to thank the referees for winning a game for them. After all, referees score so many goals and stop so many shots.

I have had a few parents/coaches/teams blame me for a win. Of course they were from the losing team!

happyjack - if it makes you feel better, Northlake Christian's coach is blaming the refs for his win- I understand that Northlake Christian has written to the state about those refs - so, I guess it does happen!

Daglish, we'll agree on the fact that the school wrote a letter to Lhsaa. We'll have to disagree that the coach credits the referees for the win. Here is his quote
t. My fans were irrate at the refs my school has written a letter to the State about this game. It was not as one sided as people are making it out to be. Northlake is a great team that deserves it's place in the Semis
I see nothing in any of his posts concerning the match that attribute the win to anything other than his team

i would watch the false statements about coaches. it can get you banned.
I talk to Nick after every game and he has never once blammed a ref for a loss or a win.

now now coachm90, its ok for statements against the coaches, they are screaming, uncontrollable maniacs who the refs have to tolerate while performing their excellent job on the field. (sarcasm sarcasm sarcasm) LOL ;D
