I am glad to see the Girls' Allstate Team is much like the Boys side. Several players from the same schools. I truly challenge coaches to consider if they believe that their entire team is composed of the top 30 players in the state. (I saw 7 from one school on the girls side.) When looking at All-State for football you never see anything like this. Constantly we as coaches like to debate on how LHSAA gives us no respect. I ask the coaches on this board to give me an honest opinion to this question, "Do we truly respect our own sport when we treat All-State, All-Metro, and All-District as such a joke that we simply want to see our own players names on the list and not the truly best players in the state, district, or metro area?"

Alice is right again (as usual). See "her" 20 thoughts thread, verses 6-8, 11 and 18. They all apply here.
