Is there any written rule that coaches can't coach from both sides of the field? Watched a game today where the team had a coach on the team side and the parents side and would stand on which ever side of the field his team was attacking on and coach. Just curious if there was a written rule against this.

There is a defined technical area for the team and coaches. So, the answer is a coach can't be anywhere but at his bench. Assuming he is a rostered coach and not a parent

You can tell if it is a parent or not because they don't coach from their sidelines.

The team has three coaches, two that sit by the bench and the third guy stands on the parents side on which ever half his team is attacking on. He stands there with his clip board tucked under his arm and makes calls for the ref. He never yells at his team but he does talk to whatever players happen to be close to him. He warms the girls up before games and stays on the coaches side until the game starts walks back to the coaches side when the game is over. I'm not sure if he is on the roaster so I guess if he's not then he isn't doing anything against the rules. However if he is on the roaster what would be the proper way to handle this?
