Can't disagree with barbedad20 on his New Standings. I had to get this in writing before he deletes this...... I don't know if this has ever happened before. But I did notice sokerfan did not say the agreed with me, he just said he can't disagree with me!!!No clear cut #1 seed, all 4 teams have a legit reason to be #1 I just think Lafayette's body of work earns them the #1 seed.

agreed- do like the body of work factor, it's a valid and appropriate means of bracketing a team. Only other variable would be if on a super hot or super cold streak at the end of reg season run in.

barbedad20 has volunteered to take the lead on the girls side for the Excel brackets I created for playoffs.

sokerfan- the small field I agree was a issue at the Mandeville Tournament, but both teams were adversely affected. Font. plays better on wide fields and as you see their record (all ties) at this tournament was not that good because this was one of the contributing factors.. no disrespect, but if your reasons for a higher poll ranking be that case then SSA should be number one only losing 1 game in what most would say is the hardest district.Losing only to Mt. Carmel 4-2. I did not see the game, maybe they had a bad day or turf field? Good points, but can be used for quite a few teams so kind of balances out your argument. My point is that I have read several post say if this would not have happened or these fields would have been larger or drier, also if we played them at home the outcome of the game would have been different. I would rather here we are in the top 10 and let's start the playoff's to see who finishes on top.Heck, I would rather here we had a tougher schedule because that does make a difference. Let me end by saying top four are ALL very good teams and if they take care of business will play in the final 4! I know it is kind of bragging rights(for now),but as Dominican proved last year "it is not where you start, but where you finish.

Re Division III wild card candidates and final rankings, Country Day beat St. Martin's by a score of 3-0 on January 30, 2012 in a non-district game.
