The Division II Alexandria Senior High Lady Trojans captured their first UNDEFEATED District Championship in over 8 years. In the six district games, 38 goals for and 0 against. Surprisingly, they finish with 9 wins, 2 loss (competitive defeats to Deridder and #10 Morgan City), and 2 ties versus their State Division II opponents. ASH takes a 1-0 lead in the match to Morgan City, before falling behind. ASH finished the season with a overall record of 10 wins, 9 losses (coming from quality teams that qualified for state in their respective division), and 3 ties.
The Lady Trojans have 8 wins and 1 loss in their final 9 regular season games. The winning tradition has started at ASH. Definite contender to host a Division II Bi-District Game, seeds 9-15.
Overall Record: 10 wins, 9 L, 3 ties Division II Record: 9 wins, 2 L, 2 ties District Record: 6 wins -0 L (38 goals for, 0 against)

this team is definately strong! The players are very physical and fast. There seems not to be a selfish player on the team. The district shut outs were very dominant. Bolton is a well coached team and to completely shut them down at Bolton was a great sight to see. Bolton came back strong in the rematch, but after the first 20 minutes of the game the ASH mids dominated the game.

Congratulations to the ASH Lady Trojans! First outright District Championship in 8 years says a lot about the chemistry of the current team. These ladies have worked hard, and have been consistent on the field throughout the season. Very likely to obtain playoff victory this year. Good luck, ladies. You're gaining ground!

:)Congratulations to the Alexandria Senior High Lady Trojans on the District Championship and going undefeated in district!! The offense was great scoring 38 goals and the defense was awesome allowing no goals in six district games!! Way to go!! Put offense and defense together like this and you have a recipe for success!! Hoping to see our Lady Trojans hosting their playoff game - this would be great for central Louisiana!

Congrats Lady Trojans! The girls never let a goal in, the defense did a phenomenal job. All the girls on the field were supportive of each other. Even the ones off the field cheered them on. The girls acted like a family. Support the lady Trojans in their future playoff game!

ASH girls have improved greatly over the course of the season. They took a competitive loss to Deridder when Deridder was at their best. The score of that game was 0-0 at halftime and 0-2 until the last couple of minutes of the game. This was also the third game of St. Louis Showcase. The team's only other losses come mainly from competitive Division I schools. This is a team that deserves serious consideration when ranking for playoffs.

Yeah, trying to remember the last DC. They had really good teams from 2004-2007, Randy Miller's last year. They went undefeated in District in 2005, i think, then Sam Houston and Deridder were put in the district and it became super competitive. Neville always booted ASH in the second round, back when they did regional pairings, except for the one year they played at Dutchtown, which i think was 2005.
Anyhow, no slight intended. I think Mark getting some of these girls to play rec helps boost their ability to play together during the HS season. Hopefully they will stick with it or play LCSL.
