The Lutcher Lady Bulldogs could not pull of a win against a very talented Vandy but those young ladies need to be proud of what they did this year. For a second year program, they accomplished so much and with so much heart. The future looks good for Lutcher Soccer with this group of young players! Go Bulldogs!

Hats off to the Lady Bulldogs! Stats and scoreboard may show that Vandy cruised to another win. But this game could have gone either way. Lutcher didn't have as many shots on goal, but as a Vandy soccer dad I can tell you that the attacks by Kassidy Z. were heart stopping. We're fortunate she didn't score more goals. Some say the choice to not start their regular keeper because of injury could have cost Lutcher the game. Maybe, but I didn't see any mistakes or bad decisions by their young keeper. Anyway, it's allways difficult to take chances with an injured player, and I certainly won't judge. Keep up the good work!

Vandy's experience and tactical expertise in things like positioning and use of space made the difference I think. Terrific team and good fan support. Congratulations to y'all and good luck the rest of the way.

I'm a Vandebilt player and I want to say that Lutcher should definitely be proud of the way they played. I don't know if I have ever been so frustrated in a game like I was yesterday all season. Lutcher came out a lot stronger in the second half and played with a lot of heart. Good luck next season. You guys will definitely be a team to watch.

I have to concur with laffysoccermom, well done littleone11, that was a wonderful gesture on your part. Not only shows a lot of class, but great sportsmanship and respect towards fellow players. You are a credit to your team and reflection of your school.
