Even though the season is not over yet any particular players you believe deserve this honor?

#6 Bailey Freeman from Loyola. Only a freshman but a top forward in the state.

Episcopal has a bunch of deserving girls. I think 10 is a lock. 17, the center back, has led that defense and has been outstanding all year. She really deserves it as well as 18.

Ouachita Christian has #4 (#21 in Country Day game), #11, and Keeper. Will there be a freshman all-state team?

Newman has two players #16 & #20 Sacred Heart has #8, #5, #4, but #10 has to be the best centermid in the state for all divisions

Not taking anything away from 16 & 20, but I don't think Newman would have beaten SH twice w/out their goalie. Both games went to pks in OT, and in second game ASH did not score 1 pk...pretty amazing.

I agree Newmans goalie is a phenom, not only in soccer but any sport she plays. 20 is also an obvious power house, but lets not forget the girls that kept the team to only 10 goals scored against them this year. Midfielders #6 and #10, and the sweeper, not sure of her number, all have a whole lot of hustle and skills.

Isn't #20 Newman the one that received the straight red card in the playoffs?

Did not see much in the middle from EHS in finals except for the long ball and play up the left side. They seemed to spend a lot of effort chasing and trying to hold onto ASH #10 as she held a clinic on ball skills. Does anyone have info on her grade level?

Ouch, Playmaker. Is it the common practice of your team to rank their players against each other? Sounds like a rough group of parents to hang with. What club team is this anyway?

Want to clarify earlier comment. I did not mean to imply that there I didn't see much talent in the middle of the EHS lineup, only that it seemed that they did not attempt to play the ball up the middle. It was a wise choice on their part after getting turned back as ASH was playing a diamond formation on both lines with a sweeper/stopper and a marking mid/attacking mid. Even though that may weaken the ASH attack, ASH were able to push the ball straight up the field.

10, 17, 6, 18, and GK from Episcopal. 7 from Uhigh. 10 from ASH. 20 from Newman. 5, 8, and 10 from Scared Heart all should be on the All-State team this year

Any thoughts on GK from EHS? She seemed to have had to step up and fill in some pretty big shoes.
