This game is a rematch of last year’s state finals, which Teurlings won 2-1. Vandebilt is making its fifth consecutive appearance in the Finals.

Division II Boys State Championship
#1 St. Louis (26-1-3) vs #2 Ben Franklin (20-3-1).
This will be St. Louis's tenth trip to the State Championship. The Saints are 8-1 in previous championship games. This will be Ben Franklin's fifth trip to the State Championship. The Falcons are 1-3 in previous championship games.

# 2 Episcopal BR (25-3-1) vs. #5 Sacred Heart, N.O. (9-9-2)
Sacred Heart, making its 14th appearance in the Finals and 10th in a row, has been to more state championships than any other team, girls or boys, in Louisiana high school soccer history except Jesuit. Sacred Heart has won titles in 1996, 1997, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2010, and 2011. Sacred Heart finished second in 1999, 2000, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.

#1 Country Day (18-5-2) vs #2 Northlake Christian (20-4-3)
Country Day is making its first appearance in the Finals since 1976, when only New Orleans area teams participated in the sport. Country Day defeated Rummel 1-0. Northlake is making its second Finals appearance, after defeating Ben Franklin last year.

Mount Carmel makes its fifth appearance in the Finals. MCA won in 2001 and 2002 and again in 2005 before a runner-up appearance in 2010. This match is a rematch of the 2010 finals that were won by SSA.
This is St. Scholastica's fourth consecutive appearance in the Division I finals with victories in 2009 and 2010 and a loss to Dominican last year.

In a rematch of last year's championship, which was the most watched in Louisiana high school soccer history, Jesuit vs. St. Paul's is again this year's centerpiece. Jesuit is making its 18th trip to the Finals (10-7 all-time). St. Paul's is making its 7th trip to the Finals (4-2 all-time).
