Hey everyone.
I am trying to establish some small group keeper sessions out at Burbank in Baton Rouge. I feel the position is losing focus across the state and a lot of teams are sticking athletes in there hoping for the best. I want to try and help out anyone who wants it to develop keeper qualities. The plan is twice a week with a max of about 8 players.
Curriculum: Developing basic and intermediate keeper skills for high school level players. The training will focus on ball security, body positioning within the frame of goal, catching form, diving form, movement throughout the box, throwing form, footwork, and more. The players will be in an environment solely purposed for the development of a goalie. No other position will be present or trained at these sessions.
Please email me on here, at kperes1@tigers.lsu.edu, or text me at 504-239-3933 to receive more information.
I was a keeper my whole soccer career and also have trained the keepers at St. Michael's for the past 5 seasons.
With a good response, we can start as early as next week.
Thanks everyone,

Have 6 boys interested in training so far from various schools. If I get 6 girls, we will work on having an all boys training session and an all girls one. Please contact if interested and feel free to pass it on.
