Anyone want to take their shot at it? The more opinions out there, the more likely we are to get more accurate and fair rankings. Someone take a go and make a ranking.

The only question I have is Lutcher at #9, I see they are in the red division in the holiday cup. Usually a top 10 team would be in the higher bracket , not lower.

DI 1.SSA 2. Dominican 3. Acadina 4. MAndeville 5.St Joseph 6.Mt carmel 7-10 Don't think Acadiana should be that high. They lost to SJA 4 0 and Fountainebleau 5 0

DIII
1. PJP 2. Newman 3. Catholic NI 4. ASH 5. University 6. Hannan 7. St Louis 8. Northlake Christian 9. Runnels 10. Episcopal BR
I believe PJP returns the majority of their State Championship team from last year so they would be a solid #1. After that it is hard to say especially after #5.

With it being the Holidays I know a lot of teams lose girls and drop down for those tournaments depending on who they have. Garrett is a pretty stand up guy so I would bet anyone in red that doesn't move up now that we have started is just missing players.

Coach Fletcher and I are still in the process of finalizing the Holiday Cup brackets. We always wait for the first few weeks of the season to play out so we can get a better idea of each team's true quality and make the necessary adjustments to our tentative brackets.
As of right now, our Black Division teams would be Catholic NI, Dutchtown, NISH, Teurlings and St. Louis. From all the information I could gather, those are the five strongest girls teams we currently have in our tournament, and if any of you feel that is not the case, please let me know, as I want our tournament to be as fair as possible for all involved.
However, we really want to avoid only having five teams, and plan on moving one of our current Red Division teams up to make six. As of this weekend, I would most likely move up Denham Springs to the Black Division, as I saw them in person this week and they looked very good.
We really need at least one more girls team to commit to our tournament soon, and I will post a notice in the Holiday Cup thread.

A brief rundown of last year's top 8 in DI and what they've done so far this season:
SSA: tie vs. Ben Franklin, 4-0 win over Lafayette. Lafayette: rough start. Losses to SSA, Northshore, and St. Thomas More. Mt. Carmel: 0-0 draws vs. Northshore and Vandebilt, 1-0 win over Lakeshore. Fontainebleau: wins over Acadiana and Baton Rouge, tie vs. St. Thomas More. Dominican: ties vs. Lakeshore and Acadiana. Win over St. Thomas More. St. Joseph: loss to Loyola, loss to West Monroe, tie vs. Byrd, win over Acadiana. Byrd: tie vs. West Monroe, tie vs. SJA, loss to Lakeshore, wins over Neville and Southwood. Mandeville: wins over Ehret, Chapelle, HL Bourgeois, ED White, Central Lafourche. OT win over Dutchtown (which technically counts as a tie). Hard to compare them with the rest of these teams since they don't have any common opponents.
Also, with Northshore's tie against MCA and win over Lafayette, you have to throw them in with these teams for now. I think it's hard to rank teams precisely this early in the season, but I think based on results so far there's a top tier of SSA, MCA, Fontainebleau, Dominican, then another tier with Northshore and Mandeville, then a tier with Lafayette, SJA, and Byrd. After that, it's hard to say who those #10-#15 teams are. But they probably include Acadiana, Dutchtown, Denham Springs, and Baton Rouge.

St Amant has some young talent and looks to challenge for a spot in the Top 15. How good is West Monroe?
