So people of laprep. Share with me your opinions on what high school stadiums would bode well for a semi-pro team. Think PDL/NPSL.
In New Orleans, we have Pan Am home of the Jesters. Although I think Joe Yenni would be a great option.
Lafayette, there's Clark Field and ULL
Lake Charles has Barbe or McNeese
Share with me your thoughts.

In Covington, both St. Paul and William Pitcher have fields/stadiums that could work. At our school, while the stadium is great, the track limits the field size.

In BR, both Olympia and Memorial can be configured for close to 80 x 120. Turf fields that could also work include Denham Springs and Zachary. While not a major metropolitan area, Lutcher's field is also a good artificial surface and they have some of the best jambalaya of any of the concession stands I've been to!

Would people support a new team? That is the 64 dollar question...
History has shown BR hasn't been a fertile ground for long term support. Maybe historically the way the former team engaged locally was an issue or maybe the area just wasn't ready...
Could NOLA support another team? What about Lafayette? Maybe the Northshore?
Don't know if there is enough of a base elsewhere to pull it off.

Much as I hate to say it, Shreveport is out. Even though Lee Hedges stadium would be a great venue.
I would say Lafayette or greater NOLA (including the Northshore) would be most likely.
One case study worth looking at would be Chattanooga FC. They are the most successful NPSL team. In terms of attendance and support.
First thing I would do would be to start a supporters' group. Theirs are called the Chattahooligans! Believe it or not I think Detroit FC (of all places) have also been successful.
I would even make a couple of road trips south!
Got to have the right mix of local young players and experienced ballers.

Marketing and supporter groups are the key to success for starter clubs.

I think the Northshore is a viable option if we are talking about locally produced players given the amount of youth clubs in the area and support shown to HS teams in the area. There are also a few good corporate sponsors with soccer ties that might be willing to invest if local players are getting a chance to further their careers.

You tell me who I need to talk to and I'll make this happen. Seriously! @hall97, there was a gentlemen who wanted to try to follow the Nashville model of fans owning the team in Shreveport. Haven't heard from him since our brief correspondence though.

Lakeshore in Mandeville is a great location, big turf fileld, good location between Covington and slidell, easy acces from i-12, nice capacity, plenty of parking...
Not sure if the st Tammany school board would allow use of school facility for this
