Based on the current schedules on the LHSAA site, Evangel and North Caddo do not play 15 games. So I believe they would become the 31 and 32 seeds and all other teams move up in seeding accordingly.

These two teams are in the same district. It looks like Evangel is the district winner and will receive the auto-quilifier, but they only have 7 games scheduled. So they should move bellow all the other teams in the top 32.
My understanding is that if N Caddo does not win district or play the 15 game minimum, they will not be in the playoffs regardless of their Power Ranking.
This would move St martins Ep. to #31 and Evangel to #32.

Forgot about the 15 game minimum. Will re-look at it.

Evangel will win District. They are undefeated in District and will have beaten North Caddo twice already with only two districts game to go.
So Evangel will move to 32, North Caddo out and St Martin in at 31 as Tor stated.

I do not believe that is right. The 15 game minimum has no bearing on who makes the playoffs, only the seeding once the qualifiers are identified correct?

I don't think so, but I think a lot of people believe your right. I know that just about all of the discussion we had last year going into this had a 15 game minimum included unless you received the auto-qualify from your district.
I read the hand book to say just that, although not very clearly.
The truth is I don't think anyone here knows 100% how it's supposed to go, and we may just have to wait until the brackets are posted to find out.
This looks like the perfect test case though.

18.6.3 Schools that failed to play at least 15 games during the regular season, including district play and invitational tournament play, shall be ranked separately using the same ranking system used to rank schools that played at least 15 games or more during the regular season. These schools shall be ranked at the bottom of the bracket and seeded accordingly until all the remaining positions on the brackets are filled.
This rule seems to be a poorly written. However, the part that makes me believe a school that is in the Top 32 PR, did not play 15 games and did not win district is not in the playoffs is the sentence about ranking them separately from the teams that played 15 games. It could be interpreted that the bracket is filled with District champs, Teams that played 15 games and if their are still spots left then teams that did not play 15 games are seeded into the bracket.
Funny thing is, it does not say anything about what type of games qualify toward the 15 game minimum. Out of state and sub varsity games could count toward the 15. However, those games do not count toward your power ranking as that is spelled out. Not spelled out that they do not count toward your 15 games.

This has been discussed on the boys side. 15 game minimum does not apply to whether you make the playoffs or not. Apparently confirmed by LHSAA as states in the boys side. North Caddo will make playoffs but will be moved to the bottom of the bracket. If you look at the wording.....they will be seeded separately at the bottom of the "bracket" . They are in but seeded at bottom.

I know and there are two camps on the boys side as well. Have not seen LHSAA confirmation so hopefully they did clear it up. I can read the last sentence to mean if that all teams that played 15+ games they will be seeded and if there are still spots available then teams that did not play at least 15 games and did not win District would be left out. Like someone said, If I was the Coach of the #33 PR team and there was team that did not play at least 15 games and did not win District ahead of me in the PR I would argue that point. May not win the argument but would argue it to at least get the rule written clearer.

I agree that the way it is written it's confusing (so when is the LHSAA not confusing). But as I have stated before, there was plenty of discussion on the boys side and Chad Vidrine confirmed with the LHSAA that the 15 game rule does not exclude you from the playoffs. Arguing with the LHSAA is going to get you anywhere. If you're in the top 32 you make the playoffs. The only way you don't make the playoffs is if a team ranked #33 or lower is a district champion and then they would bump someone out.

Ok, so Grace Christian goes to 30, Evangel goes to 31 and North Caddo to 32 right?

According to the new power rankings......North Caddo is out......Grace Christian is at 14 games so if they get another game then Evangel is at 32, GC 31. Everyone from 13 on down moves up one.
