I see there is a new LSA competitive league commissioner. Does anyone know why the change?

Leslie had indicated that she was going to put a few years in and then get out. It was probably time for a new face. She did a lot of really great things to get LCSL started and also received a lot of criticism. Perhaps that wore on her over time, but her tenure was in line with what she indicated it would be when she intially took the job

In the coming year, I believe the State will understand the volume and quality of work that Leslie did not only for LSCL, but the work that she did on behalf of the LA teams that participated beyond the state level in Region 3 and individuals who participated in ODP.
Managing teams that participated in RPL, Region 3 League, and Regional Championships numerous years, I saw firsthand how hard she worked for Louisiana's top teams (regardless of their club affiliation).
There's a song out right now called, "You're gonna miss me when I'm gone.." It will be sung...
We need to thank our lucky stars for all of our committed parent volunteers who aspire to excellence and push the status quo gang forward.

She had a thankless job. I know I complained about schedules not coming out on time. I think they will have to find a very special person to replace her or maybe 2-3.

Very personable lady. It was a pleasure working with her from my point of view. She set that bar pretty high.

As one of the LSA affiliated club team managers who worked first hand with Leslie - she was always responsive, accomodating and represented LA admirably. The MSC Lakers Elite 98B thank you for your service and support.
Never have so few, done so much for so little!

And, please don't forget Walter, too. He was always in the background schlepping stuff or doing paperwork. I agree, they will be missed.
