Definitely disappointing that LHSAA didn't adjust Power Ratings/Rankings to account for recent forfeits.

Definitely disappointing that LHSAA didn't adjust Power Ratings/Rankings to account for recent forfeits. I would hope that they would release another edition by Friday or Saturday to give everyone a status.

I not convinced that the numbers are adding up, Mckinley dropped 9 places after getting 2 wins and a tie. They only gained .46 with a total of 9.64. I'm getting a total of around 10.8 for them!

So I found an issue that I had with formula looks like Mckinley should have 10.4 pr, can the masterminds of the PR system run a quick total? This does not include the loss last night just the games on the 1/28 PR sheet.

Their power rating would have definitely dropped after those games. I haven't looked at McKinley but the other schools I have looked at, the ratings are spot on.

Definitely disappointing that LHSAA didn't adjust Power Ratings/Rankings to account for recent forfeits. LHSAA schedule website still shows these games as regular results rather than forfeits.

What happens to unconfirmed matches at the end of the season? Do they automatically become 'confirmed' for PR purposes? For that matter, what happens to unreported matches which have definitely been played, such as district matches?

IT would make sense that all would turn into confirmed since team had time to dispute and did not.

The way LHSAA is with power rankings I'm weary to make any expectations
At what point on Wednesday should we expect to see the playoff bracket and final power rankings?

I'm sure with errors, forfeits, unreported games, and games being played tonight and tomorrow, this will change a bit. This just gives everyone an idea of where they sit. Final PR is supposed to be released by 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.

I would think playoff seedings would be out by tomorrow? With first round games played Thursday or Friday?

No problem. Everything just changed because the Menard forfeits were just changed in the system. Games are still allowed until the 3rd. Seeding will be released Wednesday. Saturday is the deadline for playing the first round.

i am seeing a slight discrepancy in my PR numbers from lioncoach and with the bunching up of teams around 7-12 I just want to make sure I am doing it right
for a win 5.0 points + 100% of opponents wins (defined as every win + .5 win for every tie) for a tie 2.5 points + 75% of opponents wins (defined as above) for a loss 0 points + 50% of opponents wins (defined as above)
add point totals earned for each game and divide by the number of games played (official LHSAA games only)
thanks
