I watched the game today between Jesuit and Brother Martin. Chase Rushing ' s ankle was wrapped before the game even started. He played well into the second half but was limping after the game. If I had to bet, he will play on Saturday. Jesuit had 1 other player hurt (broken leg) and another starter injured during the game. Very physical game.

I don't know the extent of his injury, but he played a good bit in the game today and didn't make much, if any, impact. I'd hazard a guess that Acadiana is ranked #2 for a reason and will be stronger than BM was. i If he does not play in the next game hopefully you can be there to watch it, then you can see how much he impacts the game! He is easily one of the top young men at the 98 age group in the state. Not many if any in Louisiana are at his level. High school is not and never will be at a top club level, ever. Go watch him play an RPL game with team mates that can play at the top level and you won't feel the same. Hope he can play to make it an interesting game. Perhaps you took my comment the wrong way. Put another way, if he ihas a lingering injury, will he be able to impact the same as if he were 100%. It would appear from the game yesterday, and a subsequent post, his ankle was already an issue. I don't see an ankle injury healing in 3 days, and I know the coaches will be wise in not causing greater injury. I apologize if you felt I was somehow minimizing his skills, that was not my intent.

I understand. He is just a great team player on the field and also a very respectable young man off the field. He deserves all of the credit he can get.

For all the new members Scott is shocked, (sarcasm) because I picked the Rams to win. The old timers knew what he was talking about.

That was a well educated pick Goat would pick the rams, against Man U, probably in penalty kicks, but the rams no doubt. It was sarcasm, Scott was NOT really shocked. The joke loses a bit when it has to be explained.
