Loyola has a good team but will be no match for Ben Franklin. BF will win by 2+ goals. Personally, I think that BF could hang with any high school team regardless of division this year. My prediction is 4-1 BF.

only two undefeated teams in Louisiana going head to head in a state championship game!?! doesn't get any better than that! Loyola out to prove they are absolutely deserving of that number 1 seed they got BF looking for their third title and keeping the unbeaten streak going!
I'll go of course with Ben Franklin!

I believe the scare that Franklin got from the incredible effort of St Thomas More will have the Falcons ready to come out strong in this game not wanting to leave any openings for Loyola.

My guess is Loyola's only goal is to win the next game. Probably don't feel like they have to prove anything to anyone! Just my guess

But everyone knows BF was the true #1 seed Computers did well for the most part but definitely not in predicting #1 here. BF is the clear favorite and has been all season.

This is the dream final that DII has been waiting for. Two undefeated teams with almost perfect seasons. One is the deserving #1 seed and the other is the 2-time defending state champ. Doesn't get much better. Even the #1 v #2 match-up in Division I doesn't have two undefeated teams.
In the quarters and semis, Ben Franklin scored twice as many total goals as Loyola, against teams that were ranked several spots higher than Loyola's opponents. However, they have conceded a goal in every playoff game and worryingly gave up 3 in the semis. Loyola has conceded just 1 goal in the entire playoffs so far. What will give?
Both teams boast multiple star names. I would guess more than half of the 1st team all-state roster will be on display in this game, maybe 5 for BF and at least 3 for Loyola? Maybe that seems like a lot but there's a reason these teams have distanced themselves from the rest of the division.

They're the best team in D2 They should be shutting teams out As a whole Loyola has the best team in the state BF is honored to be on the same field with them! Just please take it easy on us Allow us at least one goal towards the end maybe so that we may keep some kind of dignity!

Well put. To insinuate that Loyola will be outclassed is unfair. This is a very solid, well-coached team. Their defense is just outstanding.
I'm not guaranteeing a win for Loyola. That would show a lack of respect for the Ben Franklin squad and what they bring to the table. This will be a great match, and I wish I could get down there to watch.

It was through smart game scheduling and taking care of business on the field to get that number. But no one has tried to suggest they are not the underdog. I'm tiring of your "humor". It's disrespectful and makes a mockery of the game for both of these teams who earned the right to play in the final.

Maybe I'm missing something. How have I disrespected Loyola? FACT... They are the number 1 seed. Last I understood was that the number 1 seed is supposed to be the best team.... Well with that number 1 seed comes great expectations!! I know.... BF's been there.... Not necessarily fun.
Not only that Loyola has a better record than BF From what I understand a better defense too Heck from day one all I've heard is how the back line is BF weakness.
So..... According to their seeding AND record they are the best team in D2 at least! So until someone unseats them.... They are the big dogs!
And that's all I've said What's disrespectful is when you say Loyola isn't really the number 1 and best team in D2....... And that somehow the computers got it right in every instance but this one Now THATS disrespectful !
Yet y'all trying to call me out? SMH
