Does anyone know if LSA is adopting US soccer's recommendation of 9v9 at U11 and U12 for the 2016-17 season?

Does anyone know if LSA is adopting US soccer's recommendation of 9v9 at U11 and U12 for the 2016-17 season? I believe they are, as in our pre-tryout meeting our club spoke of having larger teams to go with the 9v9 for those age groups.

I wish they would adopt doing several different formats at these young ages. I know some teams participate in 3v3 tournaments over the break but maybe a tournament or two organized as part of league and then maybe an 11v11 tournament too. I know some of the more competitive teams enter tournaments at the u13 level when u12 to get 11v11 experience. Maybe not worry about state tournaments at this level but focus more on development.

I would hope that this is has already been made clear by the LSA and is not something being handled at the AGM Aug 6th. Competitive tryouts are happening now and, as mentioned above, the number of players per team might need to be adjusted for a 9v9 format.
