Was told that u14 and up to u 18 can have some older players on team? Example u14 team with 3-4 u 15 players that are in eight grade? u18 players with 19 year olds that are still in high school?
Is this legit, When will this take affect? Tryouts and teams are turned in, what happens at roster freeze date for state cup???
Any info? Are is this BS

U18 teams could have up to 3 players that were U19 but still in high school last year for sure but they weren't allowed to play in state tournament because regional tournaments didn't allow this. You had to show proof that they were still in high school. Not sure if that is still the case.
If this is allowed, I'm pretty sure it won't be allowed in state tournament so it's probably only going to be used where a club can't field a team in an older age group so these players would have nowhere else to go. I.e. Oldest age group a club is able to form is U16. There are 2-3 U-17 players that would not be put on a team because the club has enough at U16 to make a team and doesn't want to have to play up because of these 2-3 players. State may use the previous U19 rule as a template and allow them to play up until state cup. However, some tournaments may force the team to register as older age group if these players are playing.
I haven't heard anything about this so the above may not even apply and it may be BS.

I haven't heard anything about this. Ask your club rep who attended.

302.7.2 The team with the U19/U20 player(s) may be able to participate in U18 invitational tournaments at the discretion of the out-of-state invitational tournament, but may be required by the tournament to play in a U19 division or participate in the tournament without the U19 player at the tournament’s discretion.
302.7.3 The U19 or U20 player is ineligible for U18 State Cup play but may participate in the Louisiana Presidents Cup or Open Cup.

Don't most U14 teams stop playing around the first of November anyway? Or is this more for when they start back. I know they start playing much earlier.
