I happened to be walking on the far side when this occurred (I'm the handsome guy in the gold polo around the 15 yard (on football lines) line when it was taken, you can see me in the video walking on the track. Not even close to offside. Defender on outside on crowd side of field kept her on.

Not even close to offside. Defender on outside on crowd side of field kept her on. Been making myself a little loco watching frame by frame, and you're absolutely right. CD defender standing on the 15 yard stripe is the key. The goal scorer is the 4th from the right in the still shot, not the 3rd, i.e. the farthest back of the 4. After the FK, the video picks her up still outside the 15. Unfortunately, it appears 2 of the CD defenders may have thought the trap worked, as they seem to be high fiving each other immediately after the ball went in. Great job by the refs, and congrats to Newman for the outstanding work at beating a CD team that uses the trap very effectively! Kudos to Country Day for playing the killer schedule they do that put them in a unique position to reach the final from the 11 seed - it wasn't a fluke - they absolutely deserved to be there! Had it not been for a strong save by the Newman keeper earlier in the game, the outcome could have gone differently.

Better picture, happyjack is not in it and the ball is. The ball is above the referee, near the #3. American football lines make this too easy. And hawksfan you are correct it is the 4th player from the right who scored, but neither are offside. The other 2 player are, but since they do not get actively involved, no infringement, good goal.
