looks like this D1 final and the Rio madri gras parade will be ending same time and place... that's going to be fun.

Looking forward to an entertaining, hard fought game between two top teams with a proud history. The playoffs so far have been outstanding. This game should be the cherry on top. I’m picking St Pauls 2-1.

Go Wolves! I can't wait to watch. Bring that trophy back to the Northshore.

What's the best route into the field parking tonight around the parade from the interstate? Saw a post but cannot find it now.

What's the best route into the field parking tonight around the parade from the interstate? Saw a post but cannot find it now. Get off at university avenue from I-10. Go all the way down to Congress Avenue and take a right and before Bertrand Avenue you can take a left into the parking lot. Best possible route to avoid parade and parade traffic!

A few pregame thoughts:
St. Paul's is the best team I've seen all year, and they deserve to be favorites, but I think Jesuit is playing much better now compared to earlier in the season. I think it'll be tough for Jesuit to score in open play, but they have a lot of potential on set pieces. The fact that they can create chances on long throws at their home field (the widest field I've seen in the state) bodes well for them. I thought Jesuit's defenders also tackled very well against Northshore, and they're going to need to tackle well and win all their individual battles tonight if they want to keep St. Paul's off the scoresheet.

I’ll bet anyone that wants to bet. St. Paul wins. I’m at the mid stripe by the camera platform in St. Amant gear. Come on down.
