Lakeshore comes into this game hotter than a $2 pistol. Oops I think I better start over. Lakeshore comes in to the beat of that heavy base thumping one after another blowing out all the speakers and everything that steps into their arena. The Holycross team took a 4-0 loss prior to the playoffs to Denham Springs but has since righted the ship and coach Stuart knows how to recover from anything related to soccer. He has the better accent of the two coaches but not the selfless ice baby. I’m going with the bigger, stronger and lonesome public institution left in any finals game. Win one for the Public Schools! Lakeshore 2-1

I know you are only speaking of boys public schools because Northshore and Lakeshore girls teams are in the finals of their respective Divisions.

Should be a great game either way. These teams know each other well. I wouldn’t look into HC losing the Denham Springs game, they didn’t play their starters in that one. No excuse but it definitely makes a difference. Lakeshore has some talent on their side and Bernard is hard to handle...in any sport. Kids an athlete! Fun to watch for sure. There’s a tremendous amount of respect for both teams and what each is capable of. Hope it’s not another nail biter like the BC game, don’t think our hearts can take another one like that. HC 2-1! #WeAreHC

Think I watch a match with HC earlier in the season. Is Holy cross the team with the “big” kid? Like 6’6” or something

This should be a quite a final. These guys know and respect each other, many have competed against each other in club as well as school for years.

Holy Cross will win 2-1!
It is nearly impossible to beat a good team twice but we shall see. Hoping for an excellent match!
Lakeshore has much to be proud of this season as a program as both their girls and boys teams made it to the final and play tonight!

Im sitting with Northshore and that’s 1-0 so far for the team Gallstar sits with. I love coach Stuart from Holycross as he coached my son two years but Ice Baby has won me over with his selflessness. A child that has seven siblings knows how to put the team first. I’ve enjoyed meeting him and now find myself rooting against a lifelong freind. That’s the power of La Prep and Gallstar looking deep into the games story lines. Go Lakeshore. I’m 30 minutes away.

Lakeshore seems to be getting the better of it in the first six minutes. Number 7 for Lakeshore now has two shots on goal and Lakeshore seems to be pressing holy cross rather well.
