last game was played at Comeaux, so this one will be a Lafayette. I think this game will define Lafayette's second half of the season. Time will tell. I think Lafayette finds a way to do it.

LHS will also have a special fan base. Lafayette comes out on top because they are fed up with losing to Comeaux.

Interesting matchup...long ball with a solid smattering of speed, great crowd presence, and reasonably good defenders against possession, loads of talent that seems to be coming together, a well organized attack, weak points in the back, and maybe a peep here and there from the crowd...that's a bit of a joke. I think the LHS fans are beginning to learn how to watch soccer because they sure were quiet for the Westgate game. Without predicting a score, which is going to get tougher as the season progresses, LHS wins...too much at stake in this one for them. I'm interested to see if anyone is going to change their game from a coaching standpoint...I don't think LHS will. LHS will control the middle third, sorry soccerstud...although Comeaux will chase relentlessly. They will play with reckless abandon when it comes to possession, and will go as far as the referee allows. One of the keys is if Comeaux exposes and capitalizes on weaknesses in the defensive third of LHS. Ghandi will have to play his best, he will be tested...And remember Ghandi, paper covers rock, rock kills scissors, scissors cut paper....but goalposts break shinbones...

Lafayette usually gets a pretty good number of fans at their home games, but they sure aren't too vocal.

I could give you the reason for this or at least my humble opinion after the last 20 or so years, but then some of those parents would hire an attorney to get my IP address, hunt me down and give me the William Wallace treatment on the front lawn of LHS...

Aww come on soccerfan...no faith in me . I think the key to this game will be taking lafayette out of their game and making them play ours. Thats how we got both of our earlier victories against them. If we can keep it close, I have faith that we could pull it out.

This game will be testing both the teams to see who is going to step their game up this second half of the season. I believe LHS will play with much more heart and will be coming out much stronger for the second half of the season. Yes CHS might have some support at their home games , but this time we gona have ours to match them. I believe LHS will pull this win at home to show them how our team is really capable of playing, but still will be hard fought game.

I must call Moby D*ck a tadpole huh? ;D You control the midfield, you increase your chances dramatically. But it's always a chore to beat a team that you beat before. As I mentioned in another thread, in this district, anybody can beat anybody on any given nite. I wish you all the luck in the world, although I am a little biased, but not much. I just love watching the kids play good futbol. I've seen you play, and I know you're going to lay it all out there from one touch line to the other. You have good range and stamina, great qualities for a center midfielder. I'm looking forward to the game almost as much as I'm sure you are...
