Well... Magnet won but barely... 6-5 in PKs... The first half was really intense and and everything, Magnet controlled the game but Airline put some good pressure on us and they had some good oppotunities too... Once again Beason comes up huge in goal and they just couldnt bury one past him... The second half, a bunch of cheap fouls and bad calls but it was pretty even officiating the whole game, Magnet had bad calls and so did Airline... I was impressed with them and hopefully they will do well against Shreve like Magnet did against them. Magnet goes 6-0 in district with Shreve at 5-1 and Airline in 3rd place at 4-3... Good luck in the playoffs.

It was at Independence Stadium where the Indy Bowl is played... its an amazingly huge field and its turf and hurts when you slide but yea 0-0 at the end.

Not that is really matters, but it was 5-4 in PKs. It was a great game. Both teams played well, kept things under control, and played soccer. I know the boys really wanted to win tonight, just came up a little short in the end. Congrats to Magnet on sticking with things. 4 losses on the season....3 by 1 goal and now one in the PKs.....if we can only find a way to score. Beason didn't have to do a whole lot, but I will be honest here, he looked shaky in the PKs. Two of the shots went right off his hands into the goal. The two kicks Airline missed both went over the goal. He is a great keeper, but this lack of work may have gotten him bored and disinterested tonight.
