Its beyond me how you can involve anyone from parkway on this list. Parkway is simply a bad team.

so you're saying if you go to a bad school then no one at the school can even be somewhat good...i've seen plenty of schools where their soccer program isn't good at all but they have one or two standout players that are good...they can't change the whole team but they can still be good players

I also think that Ben is a good player. He's a freshman at Parkway and he starts at outside midfield. I've seen him play in high school and club. The only problem with him is that he has trouble getting back on defence because he busts his butt playing offence and he has no energy to get back. That is one thing he will have to work on in the offseason is getting his stamina up. Another good freshman is Allen Degges. He goes to Byrd and he plays forward. He is a great player with good speed and ballskills. He has the most goals on Byrd. He can finish well. These two guys are great players and they have great attitudes on and off the field.

id agree with most of those picks, seems to be a lack of freshmen suggestions, only ben barcelona and allen degges, any one know of any others playing varsity?

I'll give you one, Shawn Gurwara at Airline. No one knows him because he plays defense. He has started for me almost all year. In addition, he has been a starter on our freshmen basketball team that should hopefully wrap up the city championship tomorrow. A name to look out for in the future is Chance Naderi. He didn't get a whole lot of time in this year because he needed some time to mature, but should be an impact player over the next 3 seasons.

not to be mean but jay is entirely to small to make an appeareance on the field. he is about 80 pounds and not very skilled. maybe he will get better as he gets older but defintely not a star freshman

Truth be told guys, most freshmen don't get alot of playing time on varsity (there's always that exception to every statement, so it doesn't always apply). Flowers and Chance are good, but wait till next year; they'll get time and a chance to prove their worth.

The only freshmen that get a lot of playing time on varsity are Degges and Barcelona. Both great players. Flowers and Chance will both get their time to shine in the years to come as I know they will both be great players. Shawn will also be good. I've seen everyone of these players play and they all have heart. That's the best part about all of them.

i agree, but do u think the teams they play for effects their playing time a whole lot. stronger teams = less playing time?

I don't think the team's overall ability has anything to do with the amount of time a freshman plays. When there are older players that are more skilled, they are more likely to play than the freshmen. Because they are freshmen, they will have more time to play as opposed to a senior.
