I hope Comeaux wins, but I think Shreve is going to be too much. I pick Shreve by one probably in OT.
Shreve has an excellent keeper and if Comeaux wants the win, then they need to start scoring like they were at the beginning of te season. Also, Indy is a big field. Probably the largest field used for highschool games in the state. Get ready to run. Should be one of the best first round matches.

sorry shrevedad but i'm sending ya'll home early agiain this year. shreve's keeper is great but if como's strikers are on he will get scored on. don't forget H como's keeper is pretty good too. the big field will work in shreve's favor but look for como to take this one 2-1. don't let dist 3 down como, we have a history of winning up there. good luck to all the como players and coach steve.

I see the big feild as an advantage for niether team. Remember...we have speed, and we like to use it. This gives us more room to open up and use our speed. Should be fun tho. Ive been praying for a rematch with them since the sulphur tourny. The boys and I are ready for saturday and we play to rep. the district proudly (for the 1st time in 10 years).

Should be a great match. They played earlier in the year at the Sulphur tournament. Shreve won that one 2-1. This could go either way. Each team knows what to expect from the other. Lets face it, if Comeaux and Carencro played in District 3 they are battling Shreve and Magnet for the district title every year. Both these matches are going to be very close. Unlike last year, Shreve is now playing its best soccer of the year. Last year we came in tired, beat up and down after playing 3 tough matches and losing 2 of them in the week before we played Sulphur, Longview and Magnet each beat us 1-0. This year we will be rested and confident after big wins over Byrd and Magnet at Indy. It may help Shreve to play on the big field, but Comeaux should find it to their liking as well. I think it is much harder to get used to a small field than a big one. It sure didn't stop Sulphur last year from coming in and winning 2 matches. I like our guys to win in a close match either 2-1 or 3-2. I think the winner here should go on to a well deserved spot in the quarters.

Most people say that winning the toss vs. Carencro went against the odds... I feel that by Comeaux winning the toss they got a better seat... I think they beat Shreve here "Convincingly". After that game is won they should breeze through there bracket to get to Acadiana for the bracket championship...They have a good chance at the Championship game but by far is it going to be easy. Comeaux remember to focus on one game at a time and use your speed okay.... good luck guys..I would like to see D3 go all the way...

Comeaux speed will suprise alot of people in the playoffs. I think they take shreve 3-1. The larger the field the better for a fast team. If you give smooth and jake alot of room to run it will be a long night.

I love Comeaux's team & all the players but Shreve is one of the best teams in the state. They really have no weaknesses. It is hard for me to pick against Comeaux but Shreve will win this one 4-2.
I hope you prove me wrong Comeaux.

I think Shreve getting pounded by Sulphur last year really works against Comeaux in this game. Shreve has a lot of the same players from last year if I'm not mistaken, and they will be ready to avenge that loss. I think this is possibly the best first round game. Shreve will be fired up, and I expect them to take this one 3-1.

logical,
I don't understand the logic of if Comeaux wins they breeze through into the semis against Acadiana. Acadiana will probably have to play the #1 undefeated team in the state to get there....no breeze. Comeaux will likely have to get through #2/#5 St. Paul to get to the semis.....again no breeze. I am all for confidence but let's be a little in reality. Comeaux can make it, but they have to play well and beat some fierce competition.

Captain Shreve is going to beat Comeaux because Shreve's goalie is awsome.

Shreve 2 Comeaux 0
Wimer is too good to allow a goal and shreve's memory of last year give the all the concentration they need for a goal each half
Oh and where is Wimer going to play college ball at. Its NSD and no one is saying where they are going.

Jeremy is talking to the University of Hawaii about playing football and NYU-Long Island about soccer. He hasn't decided yet. Also heard an LSU coach was up here last week trying to talk him into walking on as a kicker in Baton Rouge.

Shreve does have weaknesses. Game should be closer than some of you think. Jeremy is a great goalie, but everyone gets scored on. Don't think that he can't be beat. From what yall are saying he's the only way Shreve has a chance. Don't rely on him too much.

I say Shreve 1-0. Wimer is a great goalie, if not the best in the state. Shreve's offence isn't too great though. They just don't seem to put up too many goals against teams. I haven't seen Comeaux play this year but I have heard many good things about them. If Shreve decides to play this year in the playoffs, then I say they do very well against Comeaux and all other teams. Shreve 1-0.

I'm agreeing with RealMadrid... Wimer is good and I think the defense can hold them... I'm not sure about Comeaux's D, but I'm sure Shreve can put one away so Shreve 1-0...
