I saw this on the boys side. Tell us all who you have making it to the finals. Just 1 division or all, your choice. Let’s see if we can live’in this site up.

Looking back at my way to early State Championship predictions on Nov 15, I'm making only two adjustments of the 8
Div I - SJA vs Mt Carmel ( SSA)
Div II - STM vs Tuerlings ( Lakeshore)
Div III - PBS vs St Michaels (keeping it the same, Mikes needs to move to 2 or 3 for this to happen)
Div 4- Episcopal vs Loyola (keeping it the same)

Looks to me like each Division has a clear "best team" -- SJA, STM, Parkview and Newman. These four appear to be at a different level than everyone else in their divisions.
Who gets to face these 4 in the Final will likely be more about Power Rankings, as the #4 seed will almost certainly fall in the Semis, barring a huge upset.
So, I will go with how I see the top 2 teams in each Division and hope none of these end up with a 4 seed.
D1: SJA vs. SSA D2: STM vs. Lakeshore D3: PBS vs. Hannan D4: Newman vs. Loyola

Have you seen their schedule for the 2nd half of the season? They may fall to #4 before it's all said and done but will be the most battle tested team going into the playoffs. No doubt Newman and Episcopal are the two elite teams in DIV with Loyola right on their heels and PJP being the dark horse this year, IMHO!

I don't know if Newman ends up #1 in the Power Rankings, my point is that they are easily the top D4 team and will beat whoever is put in front of them in the playoffs. They could do that from #2 or #4. Doesn't matter what their seed is.
Loyola is probably the 2nd best D4 team, but will only make a Final if they don't have to face Newman earlier.
So, the seeding doesn't matter as much for Newman as it does for the rest of the teams.
