Mandeville at Lafayette 2nd round playoff game in 2017. Went into double OT. Awesome game with mandeville winning.
Jesuit at Acadiana in 2015. Semifinal. Acadiana goes up 3-0 on Jesuit. I leave to make the UL baseball game and Jesuit comes back in 15 min to win 4-3.

Bias opinion. EJ (1) vs Northshore (2) in 2018.
Northshore was coached by Laz and had those boys firing on all cylinders. I was fortunate enough to have a stacked squad with the likes of Erick Gunera and Junior Duran. Quality game from start to finish.

Dutchtown v. St. Paul 2022 semifinal. Not just the best HS game. The best game. Intense. Constant pressure. Last minute scores. Whining about the refs (is there ever a game when the refs didn’t cause one team to win?😂)

all time, playoffs or regular season. Interested to hear from some of the ‘more experienced’ forum members Definitely 2022 Dutchtown vs St. Paul in the Semi Finals. Dutchtown wins 3-2 in overtime. Great game! The game before that was also a good one. Dutchtown beat Jesuit 2-1 I believe in OT.

Jesuit over St. Paul’s in the state championship with the last minute goal from near midfield, I believe 2018 at ULL stadium, most exciting.
Jesuit over catholic 2018, was the most intense game I have ever seen, went into 8 rounds of penalties with each keeper saving 4.Jesuit won 0-0-(4-3)
Denham Springs and St. Amant had a streak of very intense games, many cards issued for a few years in a row a while back. 2017-2020.
Catholic vs St. Amant 2017 was also a very good game. STA had a very impressive player who could throw the ball into the box anywhere on their attacking half making the match almost entirely a scoring opportunity. Quarterfinal game Catholic won 2-1.

(is there ever a game when the refs didn’t cause one team to win?😂) There is not. Don't really understand why games are played. Teams should just show up and ask the refs who won, get back on the bus and go home.

Definitely second the Jesuit St Pauls game in 2018. Unreal
St. Louis vs Lusher (now Willow) in 2014 semi final game was a great game as well. I was unfortunately on the losing side that day Haha but it was a great game with great players on both sides. Andrew Malinich was the difference maker for Lusher. The context of SLC playing at home and going for a 5th state championship in a row and a relatively unknown Lusher coming to Lake Charles and upsetting us just adds to the accomplishment. Great to see that they are an established power now

Definitely this year’s D1 District 1 championship between Captain Shreve and Byrd. Shreve won 5-4, but byrd scored 4 in the second and somehow couldnt pull it off. The fans were crazy and a red card added to the pot. Many others at the game agreed it was the best they’ve ever seen.

2023 Div 4 State Championship- Holy Savior Menard vs Episcopal. 2-2 after regulation play, ten minute round of OT, 5 minute round of sudden death OT, finishing off with a back and forth battle of penalty kicks. Two amazing teams who battled the entire game with Episcopal boys getting a couple of blocks during the penalty kick phase and win the match.

2019 D3 Final Loyola and Ulab. Loyola up 3-1 at half, Ulab comes back and wins in overtime 5-4 with some of the best goals I have seen in a final for both teams. Was a crazy game. Another one was Loyola and St. Louis, can't remember the year but St. Louis won 6-5 in double overtime with all 11 goals being scored on some sort of set piece, corners, long throws, free kicks. Loyola goalkeeper scores tying goal to make it 5-5 coming up on a corner. Great game.

2010-2011 D1 final St. Paul’s 2 Jesuit 1 A ton of talent on the field. SPS, led by Adrian McInnis, providing SPS with a state title and laying the foundation for many more.

D1 v D3 matchup, Zachary vs. St. Michael in 2020 was one of the best comebacks I’ve seen. Zachary goes up 4-0 in the first half. I thought the game was over and would possibly see a mercy rule. But St Mike’s came back in the second half with some energy. They had a long range screamer to get their first goal, and then 4 more goals to end up winning 5-4.

Was in a wild one my senior year back in 2006. ASH hosted STM in quarterfinals @ ASH. Game ended 2-2 in regulation and went to extra time. Wasn't sudden death, STM scored to take the lead and we equalized on an absurd free kick from about half field in the final minute to send to PKS. Won it in the fifth round of PKs to advance. Don't feel like we had any right to beat STM back then but managed to pull it off somehow. Never played in front of a bigger crowd than the one that night. Raucous atmosphere.
We got thrashed 4-0 @ Vandy next round but, worth it.

You also gotta mention that Jesuit missed a PK and 1 or 2 (I can’t remember) goals were scored from a freshman. Too bad that 2015 St. Paul’s team was absolutely cracked. Best highschool team I’ve ever seen hands down
