Even the trainer at Lafayette is being recruited. Sorry fellas, had to do it. But there are about 5 players that are looking at different schools and I know The University of Memphis and CBU are interested in seeing them play. Francis Marion is a top choice for a couple of the boys as well.

Every year we go through the misunderstanding of college signing. All D-1 schools have already alotted their money for the next season, with most of it going to current rostered players and some was given on National Signing Day signing day. If you go D-1 and did not sign the letter of intent last week, you won't we getting money, therefore you do not have to sign anything. You can be a walk on and hope to move on from there. By the way, D-1's must report to the NCAA the allocations before the National Signing Day.

Chris Denuna committed to UNCG where he will play with Dtown's finest Jarret Gautreaux.
Romig - Providence (SIGNED LOI) Bologna - Princeton (IVY LEAGUE CANNOT GIVE SCHOLARSHIPS AND THEREFORE DO NOT GRANT LETTERS OF INTENT ALTHOUGH AN INFORMED PARENT TOLD ME HE WAS ALREADY ACCEPTED) Terrance Johnson - Stephens Institute (he has been living in NJ since Katrina and is not returning but I did hear he will be heading there)
Also, i heard that Eric Ellender of Laffy is going to Francis Marion.

does this mean one would have to register with NCAA clearinghouse by signing day in order to play, or no?

A student-athlete needs to register with the Clearinghouse as soon as they make the decision that they are going to pursue college sports at the D-1or D-2 level. The earliest that you can register is between your junior and senior years. Once you graduate you must have your high school send your final transcripts to the Clearinghouse before you can report to your school for practice, etc. When recruiting a player coaches ask if your are registered and if you are not they tell you to so immediately. Also, they will ask for the same documents that the Clearinghouse does to see if you will be elligible. In reality, you do not need to register before signing day especially you are not receiving any money, but the Clearinghouse process is sometimes very long. If you plan to be a walkon , make sure you register and complete everything for your prospective school. lafunited u said: "By the way, D-1's must report to the NCAA the allocations before the National Signing Day." does this mean one would have to register with NCAA clearinghouse by signing day in order to play, or no?
