1-1 at the half...Fontainebleau scored shortly before half. the ball was played through and the carencro player was trying to shield the ball from the attacker...the Fontainebleau player ran around the defender and ended up putting the ball into an open net.

Is this the first time that a third place team from a district has won the state championship?

depends on what you call decent? this is how i saw it. cro sent the kickoff deep in to the corner to start the game. they sent three players after the ball and the fhs player played the ball out deep in there own terr. cro had a long throw in and headed it in the goal for the first goal. the rest of the first half was controlled by cro. they almost scored on a second header with about 15 left in the half. with about one min. left in the half a fhs player out hustled the cro defense on a great threw ball and beat the gaolie for a goal' the second half was somewhat back and forth with cro having a few more chances than fhs. they scored about halfway through the half and started to play def. fhs had three good chances to score and started pushing hard late in the game. a counter attack by cro caught fhs off gaurd and cro put the thrid goal in with about 4 min. left.
thats how i saw it. i am courious as to how fhs beat jesuit. im sorry and i'm not trying to start anything but i thought fhs was just OK.

Let's give credit where credit is due. Fontainebleau had to beat everybody they met to get to the finals. They are a very good team. I spoke to a Fontainebleau mother before the game and she assured me that there was no truth to the rumor that Jesuit played its JV. No, Fontainebleau has a solid team. They just got out hustled and, let's be honest here, OUTCOACHED! If Kert Talley is not named Coach of the Year, then Tommy Henry must have been counting the votes.

From what I heard about the Jesuit players they knew they didn't desirve the semi game. They went out partyin on Bourbin the night before. Have Eye witness to that. That just didn't care!
