If Lafayette would have been able to continue and won state, they would have tied or beaten the record for the most wins in a single season at 34

didn't St. Louis tie/break/or come close to a national record with the most shut-outs?

from what I have been told, St. Louis has broken the State record in most shutouts in a season; i am not sure of the national record....wish someone would check on that....interesting.....St louis also went undeated....not sure how many other teams have accomplished that......anyone know?

There have been a few teams that have gone undefeated for the entire season. Since I have been following highschool soccer, Jesuit has done it twice.

Jesuit, Slidell, Mandeville, and Newman have all had at least 1 undefeated season.

carencro is the first team ever to win state after entering the playoffs as a third seed from a district.
