A few questions:
1. For those people that attended both the DI and DIII Championship games, how did the attendance compare? Was the attendance about even or did one game have a lot more attendance?
2. Should the State Championships be moved to ULL permanently or should they be moved back to Tad Gormley in 2007?
3. Do you want the DII Championships included in the Nokia State Championship site?

I liked ULL's location a lot better. The field wasn't as nice as Tad Gormley, but it was still a good field. I felt more people attended the game for Division III, mainly because it was so close to home for both teams.
I still don't know why division II doesn't participate with I and III.

LSU for all three.
Why not like a final four for each division. semis on Thurs or Fri and final on Sat or Sun. They do that in B ball. And club soccer. What a weekend.

Dont know about hte sponsor but Baton Rouge womens soccer stadium would be better in my opinion. I think what they were trying to do this year was give lafayette a home state finals for once. They thought that Laffy and Jesuit would meet again in the finals and this year they decided to let Laffy have home field advantage. Baton Rouge is more neutral and more in the middle of the two powerhouse areas and would be easier overall for fans, players, and it has more hotels. Just my thought.

everyone new both jesuit and laffay were going to win their divisions, ergo meeting in the quarters. doubt it was to give laffy home field.

After Katrina LHSAA was scrambling to set sites for all finals in all sports. The BR/Lafayette area was the only place undamaged in South LA. Between (American) Football moving to Shreveport and S. Louisiana's soccer dominance, Lafayette was a pretty good choice. I don't think (I hope they weren't) caring about who was in the games.
DIII game was well attended. There was enough parking despite ULL Baseball game next door.
If you want to be accessable to the whole state Lafayette is the best crossroads for N & S LA because of I-49.

I'd vote for the LSU pitch. Baton Rouge is one to two hours from just about every team likely to be involved(sorry N.La), and they have bleachers and a perfect field, and this time of year the college team is not playing. There is a controlled access point, to charge admission, so the LHSAA would get their $. It's win-win.

I attended the Division III Finals on Friday and really liked the facility there at ULL. Parked right next to the stadium and was able to walk right in. When comparing ULL to Tad Gormley, I felt ULL was much closer to the field for spectators. D3 game was well attended. Easier drive to Lafayette for me personally.
