Under old LHSAA seeding practices, Carencro would not have been considered a wildcard since they finished 3rd in district.

Under old LHSAA seeding practices, Carencro would not have been considered a wildcard since they finished 3rd in district. Well Timmy under the "old" rules we only had 16 teams play in the playoffs in Division II, only 2 divisions in HS soccer, no three point line in basketball and leather helmets for football! Wildcards for 3rd and 4th place teams have been in effect since 2003-04, so how far back are we going? WC actually existed before that as well, they just came from #4's only. There.... counter, counter served
