I wanna apologize for any EA bashing done by Zachary players or "coaches" on this site. I know the Zachary coach and i highly doubt that he's on here talking trash. As for EA making"it to the state finals last year I wouldnt necessarily call it "lucky" getting there. Even if it was good teams earn lucky breaks every once in a while. EA has a very strong team this year and that trash talking is just a reason for EA to run up the score if they get the chance. I know ZHS will be ready and pumped for the game and who knows a highly pumped team might come out running and gunning and get a cheap goal early. If ZHS gets an early goal they have a good chance but EA is by far the better team and has more depth. I will be at the game Thursday and good luck to both teams.....

The officiating needs to be addressed. The "let them play" attitude of coaches contribute to this problem. Trash-talking is unreal on the fields this season. Refs have to call the fouls early to establish control. It does not have to be a yellow card that gets the attention of a team. Just call the fouls early and that usually sets the tone. As a coach, you don't want your team intimidated so you have to accept the fouls and cards when they come. End result of marginal officiating and rough play is usually injuries to the better players because they becoming the target.

once againg EA gets lucky and wins district they'll be lucky to get a bi, they should play St. Michaels in the 2nd round....i guess we know who will advance. Everyone knows that if Lee HS had all their starters the first time they played EA it would be a complete different story...

Everyone knows that if Lee HS had all their starters the first time they played EA it would be a complete different story... ... I guess someone is lacking guts and prefer hiding behind a fake nickname - we all know you're not the Zachary coach and you're probably not even related to the Zachary HS soccer program! Like I said before... just a kid who needs some love and shoulder to cry on 'cause EA may have beat the team he plays for!! Dude, get over it... I'll provide the Kleenex but you'll have to find someone else's shoulder You're right... EA may get a bye (check your spelling kid...) and IF St Michaels does not beat Tara by 3 goals Wednesday night, then the Spartans have a good chance to meet the Warriors in the second round of the playoffs! It would definitely be an interesting game since St Michaels already beat EA early in the season... Now as far as getting lucky... I won't deny that luck plays a part in every sport!! EA and Lee have had a great story and some wonderful games in the past 2 years. Actually it was the 1st time that Lee beat EA... and I'm the 1st one to say that they deserved it! They played a hell of a game... 3-3 at the end of regulation / 2 OT with great opportunities on both sides / and an incredible pk session where EA 1st shooter saw his shot blocked... an amazing game! ... IF you still need some Kleenex, just PM me, I'll send them to you and even pay the shipping

EA is a class act and I hope that this ZHSCOACH is not part of our coaching fraternity in District 4...we have great friendships within the district and I would like to believe that Zachary is on-board...EA has been the dominate team for the last 2 to 3 years and Lee finally pulled one off, but EA will still represent the district as the #1 team in the playoffs and it is well deserved...if you want to see some physical soccer come watch EA v Lee...then after the match watch 40+ young men gather at mid-field and give praise to each other and the game they all love...I believe in the EA coachesm, the way they coach and the way their players leave it all on the field and never quit...EA v Lee in the state finals would be a dream come true...District 4 is #1

;D ... I'll have to agree with coach, 522, Lee and EA have a tremendous respect for each other! I have never been neither seen such an intense soccer game (deciding the district winner and the #1 seed btw) where at the end all players & coaches gather together in the center of the field where they paise each other, joke around and laugh together!
I've been saying for the past 2 years now... watch out for the Rebels, they're more dangerous now than they'ever been in the past...

If Lee had all their starters....what does it matter? They didn't have all the starters the first game and EA won the game. They took advantage of what was presented to them and that is what good teams do. ZHScoach you need to stop talking bad about a team that is definetely on the uprise. As far as a little summary on both teams. I have seen both teams play TWICE. I think EA is slightly a bit better. They can both move the ball well throughout the field. I think Lee's defense is a little weaker that may be the only difference. EA can play any style of soccer I belive. They can one touch you up the field, or they can play the wings if you clutter the middle. They use the drop a lot and their fullbacks are used on offensive possessions. You dont see that to much in High School soccer. Their wingers make really good crosses and they are good finishers. Lee HS has more of a North to South Game. They find #1 in the middle and he runs the show (Great Player). Both teams will be dangerous in the playoffs depending on who they have to play but I believe EA has a slight advantage over LEE.
