University 4 - 0 Catholic Pointe Coupee Goals: Micah Peters (:02, :43), Matt Copeskey (:06), Michael Copeskey (:62). Catholic PC's #2 ("Connor") is an excellent player with technique and speed. I heard he is a freshman. If that's true, he's got to be one of the best freshmen in the state.

I wish he was a freshman......he's a senior. Oh well, he still was a great player. I don't remember seeing him for the last couple of years, though....

Airline 20 (thats right, 20) Southwood 0
Shameful, they did nothing to try and keep the score down other than rotate players. Went 100 % at the goal the whole match.

Wow that surprises me alot ShreveDad, Airline scoring 20 goals on Southwood. It really surprises me alot because I know the airline coach and I am good friends with him. I am sad to say I am disapointed in the scoreline from this game. I would have never guessed an Airline team to ever run the score up on a team.

Airline 20 (thats right, 20) Southwood 0 Shameful, they did nothing to try and keep the score down other than rotate players. Went 100 % at the goal the whole match. I agree. There is no reason in high school soccer for any team to score 20 goals. With all of the instructional opportunities and restrictions that can be placed on a team by a coach to avoid this type of embarrassment to another team in a sport that is rich with tradition, this is unacceptable. I truly hope the saying what goes around comes around catches up to airline. I have watched my son and his teammates turn at the 18 on breakaways countless times rather than take a shot on goal. In one game, they made over 25 consecutive passes never once taking the ball into the attacking third. It was quite impressive game of keep away and very much appreciated by the parents of the opposing team. The score was 4-0 in the first 10 minutes and the opposing parents knew that the players could score at will but out of respect chose not to do so (final 8-0). Shame on Airline is correct.

Hahnville 4 Destrehan 2
Great game, Hahnville went down 2-0 early but came back and scored 3 in 9 minuits to lead 3-2 at the half. Hahnville finished off the second half with great defence and one more goal.
