what about most consecutive district wins...I think STM might have that one in the bag. I don;t know how many, but i know it has been quite a few years now. I think someone told me 10 or something like that (don't know how credible tho).

jesuit had an undefeated season 2 years ago when they won the state title. They went 30 or 40 somethin - 0 - 2. The ties were to vanderbilt and como in a preseason match and a tournament in Lafayette.

Hey soccerstud STM's dist record won't be that good in the new district. they will now have to play teams that have liget soccer teams.

yea but i doubt they willgo undefeated in district like in the past. They usually strolled though district without even using the starters too much. That will all change. they will still be good but not dominant.

hey foxtrot, do you really think they will go undefeated? i think the young acadiana rams will have something to say about that. They will definatly be contenders but they won't have the creampuff dist. like they have now! Wait until they have to play at barbe and sulphur, its another world there, (read in to this what you want).

When dealing w/ Acadiana & STM in the same district&division... i'd say the same thing i think will happen w/ Teurlings and St.Louis... there'll be close matches in district play then split and later meet in the playoffs which would hopefully be the finals unless a team like Jesuit/Bro Martin decides to steal the top spot... that is what i think... and is it possible for them (STM) to go undefeated? Definately.. you'd be ignorant to say that it wasn't possible... I'm not saying its a given but it is something capable for them to accomplish

if they had carencro, Laffy, Acadiana, Como, Nish, sulphur and barbe in their district...I would put a bit of money that they would not go undefeated...maybe since their will only be 5 teams they may have a chance, but i still think that they may drop a game or two and still come out #1.
Its not like your district where you only have to worry about one team...You can lose to any team at any time if you come in thinking a garanteed win. haha.

foxtrot this thread is about record wins. stm has dominated their district for years only because it is a weak soccer district, that is a fact! my point is that they WON'T dominate the new district like they have the old one. yes they can go undeated next year but i doubt they will. they certianly won't have a guarantee dist champ. title every year like they do now.
one more thing get ready to wear runner-up patches on your letter jackets LOL

hah ok sure thing .... but i never said anything about STM having a sure/absolute win for next year through their district... it just seems like b/c of the new "ligit" teams they will play against next year, you believe that they wont be much of a competitor within their district.. i was just concerned about that & i'll just take that last line of ur post as a joke haha

foxtrot i know most of the players on stm i even coached one or two when they were real young. i respect them and the team. i also know that they will be a force in the new district. my point was stm will not have the same domanice in this district as they did in the one they are in now. i think you would have to agree with that. as far as my last statement, no i really think they need to get ready to wear runner up patches, the RAMS will be the best team in that district LOL.
