Will Rummel upset another top district opponent? First time these two played score was 1-0 Jesuit. If Rummel happens to win this it could change a lot. Who will win this Catholic League showdown. Game is Wendesday January 17, at Rummel for 3:30.

i don't think anyone will ever score on jesuit this year so rummel better hope for a 0-0 scoreline with the decision in p.k.'s. I'll take Jesuit 1-0 or 2-0.

What does Rummel need to do to win this game? What should their so called "GAME PLAN" be?

score a goal and don't let jesuit score....
haha. On a serious note, they should try not to get too defensive. They need to find a way to create some space for themselves and have a good transition from defence to offence. That is how jesuit crushed STM. They took away the entire middle of teh field so that STM could only clear the ball to get some breathing room. Jesuit would win the clearance and send the ball right back into STM's third. Eventually a team will crack if that is what happens.

something to take in mind: the game is at rummel and that is one of the hardest fields to play on in the state because of the crown on the field and the fact that it is less than 50 yards wide making it very hard to play the game......but Jesuit has had alot of success there in the past 5 years i dont think they have lost at rummel in the past 5 years but rummel just upset brother martin..........so it is an interesting matchup

Yes, I believe the score was 2-1. It was in Lake Charles. I know that game Rummel was missing 2 of their top players. One in defense and one in the mid-field. That is the only bad team Rummel has lost to all year. Every other loss they had were to top teams

Weather and field conditions might play a big role in this game...

I don't know about that. The first time they played it was only 1-0. It was 0-0 at half. Ask any Jesuit player who their hardest game was against so far, bet every single one of them say it was Rummel.

They should've took them down easy.

i definitly think that Jesuit will take this game, i also agree with biome22 they are going to stay undefeated. But either way these are 2 really good teams, and they are going to duke it out till the end, so we will be in for a great match.

fluke goal or not... laffy should've scored a few more goals that game and then they wouldnt have had to worry about that last second goal for the tie

yes i know about that but boomboom made a comment to rummel about losing to comeaux early in the season just like laffy tied comeaux "early in the season" that's why i think his comment wasn't necessary*
