Last time these two teams will play against each other in district play( because of the new districts). But what a great rivalry...am i not right? plus what are your predictions for this game and who will make a difference?

rams find a way to score and win this one in the LAST dist. meeting between these two schools. next year i will be able to pull for both of them to win district and not get in hot water. thanks to both teams for the memories; two class teams!

I agree with goat. I think the Rams will find a goal in the first 10 minutes or in the last 10 minutes of the game to beat Lafayette 1-0. It will be a tough and competative game. Should be a great game to watch.

This is a huge week for Lafayette. These two games could very well determine their success in playoffs. This would be a huge confidence builder for Laffy if they are able to pull these 2 off, and i would definately expect them to be a real threat if they do. If they don't its not the end of the world. They can bounce back. But mark my words if they lose both of them they are done. There's no getting past losing to your two district rivals right before playoffs who you are supposed to be better than anyways. So Lafayette, best of luck to you. This week will tell us alot.

isnt it true that jacob goodwin and john gerome both failed out and are done for the season.....as much as i would hate to say it....if that is true it will certainly be a lot harder for ahs to pull out the win

I just talked to a player from acadiana and they did lose jon and jacob and barret murray is about to quit. I think if they want a chance in this game or the playoffs they better step up.

the second goal for laffy which was called back acadiana got alot of momentum but not enough with only the 10 people on the field to win. But come on how are you going to call a Handball right on the outside line of the box?

laffy won 1-0... we had a breakaway late in the second half and our player was getting pulled down and he shot it and right when the ball was going in the ref blew the whistle then called it a goal... the ahs players argued then it got reversed... the ref should have waited till after the shot to see whether to call the advantage

The handball that LHS had was inside the box. The ref made a bad call and gave AHS a kick right outside the eighteen.
Great game by both teams considering the field conditions, the weather, and the officiating. During the second half it looked like AHS was controlling the game down a player due to a red card and looked as if they were gonna get a goal. LHS keeper came up big several times that kept LHS with their lead.
Congradulations to LHS on their victory and goodluck to both teams going into the playoffs.

No there was only 1 red card giving out. In the paper it said that Acadiana got two red cards, one to Kevin and one to Nick Saboe. Nick Saboe did not get a red card. He only got a yellow card. Newspaper mistake.
