If a player gets a red in the playoffs, does he have to miss the next game?

If a player gets a red in the playoffs, does he have to miss the next game? I am not 100% sure, but I do not think so.

NO he does not have to sit out, unless the COACH has a rule in place. According to the LHSAA After three reds duing a season the player is done for the year, but the first and second reds are only monetary fines to the school by the LHSAA.

I was under the impression that a direct red led to a 1 game suspension, while a red by means of two yellows did not.

depending on the reason for the red, LHSAA could impose a game, or multi-game, suspension on the player. This has happened 2 times this year that I am aware of.

happyjack is right. there is no game suspension for a red, whether "hard" or "soft", however the LHSAA can suspend a player if they deem his action worthy of a suspension.
Similar to the NFL, MLB, etc...
