University's defense can hold their own. The key is whether they can score. If they can't get Peters free, then they will struggle and UHigh will have to rely on set pieces and corners. A small field would help UHigh.

The thing about University is that they don't neccesarily have a way of scoring on offense. This can be both good and bad because they don't have anything in particular to rely on which means the opponent doesn't have anything in particular to look for. Someone different steps up for University every game could be a midfielder, foward, or wingback. Sometimes even a fullback, Matt Copesky scored both goals for Catholic high last week.

bottom line here is simple. university has no offense. decent defense. if st fred's scores 2, they win.

bottom line here is simple. university has no offense. decent defense. if st fred's scores 2, they win. I don't know about that. UHS scored two goals against Catholic, Dutchtown, and St. Thomas Aquinas. I assume St. Fred. is in the same calibur as these teams. If St. Fred scores three goals, they will win for sure. Otherwise, the game could go either way.

if anyone actually, truly believes that st. fred's is going to blow out univ. in this one on the back of some crazy german that no one knows about, then they are undoubtedly a moron. if st.fred's does win it will be close but i'd say it looks like a 1-0 r 2-0 victory is in store for univ.

i'm going to be as polite as possible, and i'll try to use monosyllabic words for everyone to understand. To count either team out, for whatever previously conceived notions or factors(st fred's german, and university's precarious offense), would demonstrate a level of ineptitude that borders on the imbicyllic. But of course, that's just my earnest opinion. Whoever it may be that steps out onto the field on thursday is who we play. Let the chips fall where they may.

Maybe you should use monosyllabic words since they are easier to spell. For example imbecilic.

"Imbicyllic," however, is a polysyllable which, curiously, is said to derive from the Bavarian description of the condition afflicting soccer players who cannot perform bicycle kicks.

2-1 St. Fred......st. freds is big strong and fast and can move the ball all right. they have a pretty good player number seven who could do some damage.

Thus, I'd say 2-1 University, quite possibly in overtime. Wow! Who made that prediction?
