... it may be one of the best DII game of the regional round with STM-ASH... St Michaels beat EA 2-1 earlier this year (11/20)!! It will be a very intense game

Was EA missing any players during that game. I know this time around that St. Michaels is missing their two starting forwards.

EA was missing 3 players - the 2 starting center midfielders (bot had a 1 game suspension) and one of the starting striker (injured). I know St Michaels is missing 2 very good players but it seems to me that a lot of players stepped up and after seeing them against Beau Chene Saturday night, I was impressed!! It will definitely be a fierce battle ;D

No matter who plays for St Mike's, EA wins this one. Too many playmakers on one team v a solid but unspectactular team.

yep. st mike's defense is good and ea's defense not so much. so it may be stength on strength. st mike's might want to pack it and hope for a chance on goal.

are u kidding me about EA's defense not being that good?? They only had 1 game in district where they gave up a goal. They have a very good defense!!

No disrespect but Jesuit put 4 on EA without breaking a sweat. Don't think shutting out Zachary and Mckinley means so much. Not saying the d is bad at all. Just that in this matchup I think the key is the EA offense v the St Michael's defense.

The time Jesuit put in four on EA was in the Thanksgiving tournament. East Ascension did not have their full squad at that game. And as I recall Jesuit beat STM 5-0 at that tourney...you going to tell me that STM has a weak defense?? Jesuit is just a beast so this example doesnt help your argument about EA having a weak defense.....

... as a EA coach, I'll say that about EA's defense - comparing this season to the previous ones, the defense has truly improved. EA posted 11 shutouts allowing 28 goals in 22 games so far (too much goals if you ask me... but last year we had 5 shutouts allowing 53 goals in 27 games). Last season we scored a total of 55 goals (ending with a differential of +2... quite terrible!!), while this year we already scored 69 and have a differential of +41... Those stats are nothing to brag about (as a coach I find them decent but still insufficient...), they just show some improvement on both areas of the game! Now back to the topic... St Michaels does not get enough credit, in the past 2 seasons, EA never beat the Warriors - tying them last year (1-1) and losing to them earlier this year (2-1)!! IT WILL BE a fierce battle.........................

Well one important factor that you are missing about the EA Jesuit game is that the played Jesuit. They are a good team or so i've heard.
