very physical play by pineville throughout the first half. first goal was off of a corner to #19, second was off a hard shot from #2 and third was put past the keeper on a breakaway down the left side. Not too sure how Tara scored

Yeah Pineville played well in the first half, but did not play very well in the second half. Our defense had to really step it up in the second half because they were pressuring like crazy. We manned up on 14 and 11, and that pretty much controlled their entire offense. We scored 2 goals back to back within about 2 minutes. Our third goal came with about 15 minutes left in the half. They scored their pk with about 20 minutes left. Their goaly played well and stopped us from putting in 2 breakaways. Overall a well played game.

hmm maybe damp and thin grass that causes your footing to slip easily... and there seemed to be alot of holes from cleats and stuff in the middle too.

Fred was just shut down. They out-manned him and marked 3 or 4 guys on him every time. And that little #11 they had up there. He was small though, and Pineville just had the size. One guy from Tara kept falling down and the referee kept calling it, time after time. It was a well played game, I didn't think Pineville "dominated". The ball was on Pineville's side majority of the game, Tara just couldn't put 'em away. Pineville only had a few shots on goal, but made 'em count. I guess now we'll wait until next year to see what Tara has, seeing as how they're not losing any starters.
The field was pretty torn up it looked like. Not so much dry, not entirely damp either, but it made the ball bounce unpredictably. Really made it a tough game. Congrats to Pineville, however, they played hard, and good luck to you against Vandebilt.

this is a little late, but pineville didn't control this game. not in the least bit. tara held the ball in the attacking 3rd for the majority of the 2nd half and controlled the 1st half as well. tara had midfielders playing forward so they never really even put any shots on goal. pineville played kickball and bullied tara's weak and powerless defenders. seriously, tara's defense was slow and small and pineville just kicked and chased better. pineville better step it up if they want to compete against vandy.

I wonder how many goals you have, i bet you it's not 47. Even if you are a player. You might be just some random guy that has nothing better to do than to dis other people. Fred is a quality player but even those kind of players dont score every game. cristiano7 you would never beable to match up to fred. I sense a little jealousy.
