The only sides left are the elite 8; it would be foolish for any side to underestimate an opponent.

i heard vandy has a defender named babineaux or something that shuts down anyone who comes near him...i hear he like champ bailey...shut down corner with amazing speed and closing distance...i think he may have a scholarship offers from some major D1 programs...anyone know the truth to this?

I dont know anything about that defender but Ive seen Vandy play and I think the only one who might have a shot at a d1 offer could possibly be Travis D. he might be a little small but he is lightning quick.

Pineville beat DeRidder IN DERIDDER this season. Pineville was pumped. They played hard. Guys outhustled DeRidder's slow-footed players. So I can imagine a possible scenario in which Vandebilt is shocked into mediocrity by Pineville's 100% hustle and expressive emotions...and Pineville win 2-1.
But this being the march to the state championship, I suspect Vandebilt will play from first second to WIN and defeat Pineville 3-0 or 3-1.

if it rains sunday and monday vandy wil def have a hard time putting one in the back of the net. pineville's field is known for its sloppiness and pineville upset one team a couple of years ago (i wanna say STM or Loyola) because the team could not play well in the conditions.
plus, nic weeks is back. he had an awesome game against tara and seems to be in shape. i know its just one player and that one player doesnt really make a team better, but it sure does give them a lot of confidence
vandy cannot overlook these two things if they want to win bc pineville can very well take this one to the house!
i say p-ville 2 or 3-1

yeah pineville, don't try and pull an extra profit off of these playoff games. ya'll have enough money as it is. playoff games are supposed to cost 5$, not 7$. if pineville tries to charge any of ya'll 7$, refuse and give them 5$ and walk in like i did last night.

vandy should handle them with ease, but vandy was struggling earlier in the year. I would say Vandy 3 Pineville 0

i watched the pineville and tara game. pineville was very agressive and physical. vanderbilt has to watch out, and better not underestimate them because this wont be a walk in the park. pineville has a great offensive attack, counter attacks as well. i take vanderbilt 4-3 over pineville, just because vanderbilt has more experience when it comes down to these games. goodluck to both teams though.

pineville COULD win this one and i'd be impressed if they did, but it's very unlikely. They will be hoping their field is in prime conditions (no grass, all mud) for them to beat vandy because they have always liked playing in that condition but who knows i think it's close though

i also think that this isn't the vandy of years past

if the field is muddy (the way pineville likes it), vandy will have a really hard time scoring. plus their defense shut down Fred Parker (who has like 48 goals this season) and the Tara offense. i wont be surprised if pineville wins

I don't know much about Pineville.
I did see Vandebilt play against Chalmette and I was not impressed. The field was in excellent condition. Vandebilt has problems finishing, but once they figure it out they get on a roll.
If Pineville can get one in early and control the midfield, it's Pineville's game.
