i mean broadwell had 31, yea 31, saves. luckily he only missed 2. i agree that ASH might have played worse than usual, but if a team puts 33 shots on another team who only had 6 or 7, then team with 31 seems to me a better team.

Every soccer player out there knows when a team doesn't play their best. Even though that doesn't necessarily mean they would have won, it just means they did not put the ball in the net when it mattered the most. ASH played a hard fought game, shut down #18 and hung with #10 (the 25 year old). *Side note to Vandy - shoot on goal because the goalie can't catch * It's hard to watch teammates get sooo close to scoring but just not put it in. Like i said before, the ASH squad is young and under new management. I could not be happier with how the team played this year and i expect to see this great group of guys in the playoffs next year! GO TROJANS!

Well it seems to me that you weren't concentrating on the right player. You should have shut down #1, Jaciel Rodriguez, seeing as how he IS their best player. All of the offence comes through him and he distributes the ball well. And yea, I still think we should check the birth certificate of #10. He looks old enough to be my dad. Lol

im not making excuses, haha the whole point of my trying to get around me saying we had a bad game cuz if i would of said that people would just say you are making excuses. but what i am saying is that usaully we come off thinking we played a well played game of soccer. tuesday we did not, we were not thinking man, we played like crap, but we were'nt thinking we played good either, how do you not get that?

To sum things up, Lee came out confident and ready to play. It showed! ASH did not play to their capabilities, but that is a sign of a young team learning how to play well in 'Big" games. Lee had great fan support as well and also shot some confidence down on ASH's part. Just want to get something clear though, Who ever took stats, was obviously unfamiliar with what a save is. We recorded 12 saves for Broadwell. Those were shots on goal and saved opportunities to score. Someone obviously recorded saves by how many times Broadwell touched the ball. I would be embarassed to have 31 shots on goal and only scoring twice......think about it!

I was kind of wondering about that, 31 saves is a lot. I remember one year though I had something like 20+ saves and we only lost 1-0 though.
