Remember, the question is not who is the best, but who is the most improved. I do not care what you base your answers on, but please provide a reason.
Mine are based on how far the teams got in the playoffs last year and are:
1. Lee 2. Loyola 3. DeRidder 4. Pineville 5. Ben Franklin 6. East Ascension 7. ASH 8. Vandebilt Catholic

Mine would be Ben Franklin. At the begining of the season people were astounded that they were put on the top ten. Despite that they have fought their way into the quarters. Impressive really

Lee gets my vote. There is some pretty freaky talent on that team. If you catch them on a good day for them, look out. Last year they seemed to have less talent and less togetherness. Katrina aside, Franklin is traditionally good, so it's hard to say they are improved this year. Same with Vandy and ASH. EA went far last year but I think they are much improved this year. Don't know enough about cenla and the north to comment much.

I would say DeRidder is the most improved...and more impressive (boys' team and girls' team) because DeRidder is not located in an urban area where soccer thrives as an around-the-year sport.
I am over 40 years old (Watch it, kiddo!), and I can testify that in the 1970s and 1980s soccer was not a legit sport in DeRidder. Soccer (a.k.a. "football") has come a LONG way in DeRidder in recent years.

chalmette=round 2 in their first season ever
coach told me vandebilt only had a 1-0 lead with 7 minutes to go
we'll see: is this the fartherest we're ever gonna get or not
but enough about us
we'll just start preparing for jesuit, rummel, brother martin, shaw
if i'm not mistaken holy cross got in the playoffs from that district despite being light years behind the big 3
