You must applaud them for these rankings.
Jesuit and Carencro are the top two teams in the state, and they've done a good job of seeing this.
Like to see our LA boys ahead of Bellarmine Prep. They've been #1 overall for several years. And that's for Fall and Spring schools as well.

oh goatboy. typical ref. seeing what you want to see....not whats actually there.
i wasnt questioning how big a fan u are of cro, or how many people on the team you know. I was just stating that Cro has a pretty good record in games that you say they wont win. Now do u disagree w/ that?

take the gloria switch exit. not on the number. take a left off the exit. when you get to a yield sign the road will split. take a left at the yield sign. drive down that road till you come to a stop sign. take a right at the stop sign (butcher switch). the school will be up ahead on the left.
the school is within about 2 miles of the gloria switch exit. its very easy to find. if you have any trouble at all there are plenty of places to stop and ask for directions. i dont think anyone will have any problems.

Anyone at the game tonight got the answer to the question: "Does Carencro deserve #1 over Jesuit" « Thread Started on Jan 28, 2007, 2:33pm
Goatman, Shrevedad and ontheRun24 --if you were at the game, any doubts in your mind about the answer?
Not this year. Jesuit dominated the game--start to finish. Cro's keeper did a good job of preventing this game from getting out of hand. Jesuit's defense rejected all but a couple of shots on goal.
Great season Cro.
Jesuit will be ready for the final game next Saturday, whoevever they play. Great game Jays! 30-0-0

District 3 Theory of Superiority is trashed. The Catholic League has dominated and will continue to dominate LHSAA sports. It's funny the moment the score was announced that you did not see any of the central or north louisiana people on here still bragging about Cro.

Check out my in-depth review of the JHS @ Cro match on the "Carencro v. Jesuit: Who Will Win?" thread.
I don't know why I changed my mind and thought that Cro could beat Jesuit...
See you at the St. Paul @ Acadiana match!

There is no doubt (and for most of us there hasn't been most of the year) on who is the best team in the state. Jesuit has gone through the entire season untied and undefeated, and now has made it through the toughest half of a bracket we have seen in years. They have to go in as a 2 - 3 goal favorite over either Acadiana or St. Pauls. It is going to be a pleasure to watch them play up here. The big field at Indy should play right to their strengths.

alfred wake up!!! we are taking about best overall dist!! not who the one best team is,DA! how many dist 9 teams where in the semi's ONE how many dist 3 teams TWO, and who knows if acadiana wins today they just might upset jesuit. think about it alfred best dist not best team. and you are wrong about football as well.

OK...what about the quarters? Three teams in Dist. 9 were there as well as three from dist. 3. Does that signify best dist? Nope, I don't think so. One team, BM, from dist. 9 lost to a rival, undefeated Jesuit team from dist. 9., and the other, Rummel, lost to a Northshore team, so technically there has been no 9-3 vs. 3-3 or 9-2 vs. 3-2 matchup...wait...that's right. The best representative from your district lost to the best rep. from ours. It seems that you tune out what's detrimental to your position, but exalt what's beneficial to your point. Same thing goes with football, but I guess once again that you block out the years of championships that teams like Jesuit, St. Aug, BM, Shaw, and Holy Cross have won. Hey, it's alright. I know you brought up this topic and everything, so don't blame me for having to set you straight. Dist. 9 would never make a claim that they were the best dist. in state. True, in our minds, we know we are, but we have class. We would never come outright and say that unless provoked. We prove our distinction on the playing field/court/track,etc. wherever and whenever. Oh, by the way, what does DA stand for? Yeah, that's right, that's why we have more class. We keep things above the belt.

yeah, well jesuit has no girls at their school They don't need any. they are content with themselves. On the other hand, BM used to bring girls from area schools to our own school for lunch even on school days. Supposedly, it was a extracurricular club thing, but we sure did enjoy it.

da doesn't stand for anything. it just mean da like da bears! sorry if you took it the wrong way it doesn't stand for dumd a** if that is what you where thinking.
alfred it looks like we will have to agree to disagree on this one. i could use the samre agreument as well our 2,3 , 4 teams didn't meet in the playoffs so i guess we won't ever know who the best DIST is. as far as acadiana beating jesuit i just hope we get the chance to. first we have to take care of business today.
