This will be a battle. 2 undefeated teams in 2 of the toughest districts in the state. Arguably, the 2 top teams in the state squaring off in the semis instead of the final.
Anyone know why the game is being played in Carencro?
Both played home, then away for the second round, then back home tonight.
Must be something in the rules that predetermines why Cro gets to play at home again.
Jesuit has won each playoff game by the score of 2-0.
That's my prediction Jesuit 2 Cro 0
I can hear the wailing through my computer already.

Since it is an odd year, the top team is home when both had played home previous.

Trevor Thomas has not been stopped all year. Rosser is on top of his game. Cro is playing really well. Jesuit is going to have to live up to their hype to take down Cro at home.

Jesuit @ Carencro
....uhhhh....
hmmm Home feild advantage?? NO, that wont make a difference.
I don't know, but both teams are playing very consistent and I feel the ball can bounce in any favor. I can't say Carencro has everything to lose...or Jesuit has everything to lose.
but... I will point out this.
Carencro has beaten many good teams, and showed alot. They came out undefeated in the one of the toughest districts in Div. I. Unlike Lafayette and all the other teams they've faced in the playoffs, Jesuit needs to focus on something different in order to win the game (as they are picked). "Man mark Thomas" and all the other jibberish is what many teams came into each game thinking they were going to execute the game plan. They need to focus on a different key in Carencro's game
This man has built each Carencro team from mud and up by himself... has a few state titles under his belt, and in his mid 40's runs and trains Carencro each year. I think Jesuit needs to focus on how to kill Kert Talleys game.
My All-State MVP nominee goes to: Kert Talley
Coach of the year can go to whom ever...Oh yeah hes got one of those already.

i would have to agree that this game has the top two teams in the state, and could be considered the title game. the same thing was said last year when lafayette met jesuit in the quarters, and look at what happened cro won. this will be an awsome game to watch so if you want to see great soccer with great fan support try and make this game.
after watching the game last night i do think cro can beat jesuit. it will be tough but i think they are playing some of the best soccer i have seen all year. good luck cro and don't be suprised when you see a goat in the stand screeming for the cro bears to win!

When will the game be played and where? (directions) I haven't heard about the time and date, but here are the directions to the "Cro-Dome". If you are coming in on I-10, you need to take the University exit and then head north towards the Truck Stop and Wafflehouse. Keep going about two miles past Moore Park. You will see Live Oak Elementary on your right. Turn right after the school. The entrance to the stadium is the very first turn when you get to the school and is slightly hidden. If you drive past the bear, you've gone too far.

im kindly asking who you might be and why friday would be a problem....the game has to be played by saturday we all know that....but with carencro having home field advantage....it makes it hard for us to have it on saturday because carencro is having their mardi gras parade with carencro high being the place where they do the line up at....it will be really difficult for carencro to be able to play on saturday

Supposed to be dry and cool Friday night.
Can someone tell me what Cro's field is like?
Also, who on Cro's team play for the Coup U-18 team? [name, position and jersey number if you know] A number of the Jesuit players are on Lakeview's club team and we always have great games between the two.

i think while cro appreciates their newest fan...."goatman", they might not want him. Cro seems to do so much better when goat says they have no chance. they won a state championship last year and had an undefeated district championship regular season this year. All of this while goat was aint-cro. if goat becomes a cro fan...i'm not sure what the bear boys will have left to play for.

These two teams are so even I think it will be intangibles that determine the winner. Karma is an intangible for sure, so heres some good karma for Cro: 2003 Jesuit plays St Amant in 2nd round of the playoffs--Jesuit advances to the state finals 2005 Lafayette plays St Amant in the first round of the playoffs--Lafayette advances to the state finals 2006 Fontainebleau plays St Amant in the first round of the playoffs--Fontainebleau advances to the state finals 2007 Carencro plays St Amant in the first round of the playoffs--Now what? Karma is a powerful thing

hey fatkid NEWEST FAN? i was at the state championship game last year supporting cro. i always pull for them except when they play acadiana, and sometime lafayette. i talk to several of the player tonight and told them what a great game they played last night. i also told them to kick some bluejay butt. i'm sorry if you think i am anti cro but i really don't know why you would think that. i think everyone who reads this board on a regular bases knows i always pull for dist 3. i know the coach real well and consider him a friend, he taught me a lot when i first became a ref. i see you have just joined this site so i will assume you don't know what you are talking about.
GO CRO, trevor it was good talking to you tonight i want to see you do your thing friday.
