St. louis should win with a fair amount of ease. I watched StM play early in the season and they seemed to have a few key players, but the supporting roles were very weak and will be exposed by the Saints. They are much deeper and more experienced. They will move the ball and wear down StM, then pick the team apart. Just an Opinion.

3-0 St. Louis in a scrimage at the beginning of the season.

You can't really take that game into consideration...in that game most of these current StM players haven't been playing regularly and they are now gelling as a team...

I don't think STM will be able to hang with STL. I saw STM lose to STA when STA was playing a man down back in the end of November. They didn't impress me then, actually I am surprised they made it this far...

I don't think they are on the same level as STL. Although I am pulling for STM, I don't think me pulling for them will help them out any more.

STM always plays their best soccer come playoff time. This year is no different, they are playing with a much stronger intensity this year. Sometimes in highschool soccer the better skilled team doesnt win, but rather the team with more heart, and I dont think another team describes heart more than STM

I have seen both teams play, at least 3-0 for St. Louis. They are just to fast and skilled for St. Martins defense and the wings for St. Louis are just to much for St. Martins wings. St. Martins is young and they are a team to watch out for the next few years, but right now they cant and wont be St. Louis.

STL will win this game easily for several reasons. 1. STM is not that good; unfortunately for D3 there are a lack of elite teams. STL happens to be one of those teams STM used to be; but they are only in the semis because they have had a very easy road. (Hardest team they played so far was Menard? Talk about a D3 powerhouse.) 2. STM beat STL at home 3 years ago because they were the best team in D3. They had a very good coach and a MUCH better team. STM does have a few quality club players but is not near the same calibur team that they were 3 years ago. Those are just to a couple of reasons; good season STM for a teams that really shouldn't even be in the semis but your season ends now.

when menard played STM last night, STM did not have as much intensity as some people say they have. they got up early on a deflection from the goalie that slowly rolled in. other than that the menard defense shut them down. and (i can say this since i play defense for menard) menard's defense is not the best. one-on-one's and set plays were both shut down by the menard defense. i know St Louis has a much better defense than menard and will shut down STM even more.
as far as STM's defense, menard had several oppurtunitues to put the ball in the net but never came away with a goal (just unlucky i guess). menards offense was just all-around quicker than STM's defense but a couple of offsides, the wind, and the field hurt menards breakaways.
i think ST Louis has too much talent for STM, STL wins 3-0. congrats on a good game last nite to STM, good luck against STL but i just dont see yall winning.

Its a real shame that the menard players can't do anything but kick the ball 30 yards down the field. No to mention the playing surface was the worst Ive ever seen; 3 inches of mud and it was about as wide as a football field. there should be a min of 65 wide to be able to play on for a soccer field. If the game was on a dry pitch, its easily 4-0. I guess that when your really not that good of a team, you need to play in slop like that to compete. Menard never seen scoring in the second half. Not a wiff......so don't grandstand about how bad St M is when you barely know how to keep the ball....better luck esungoal4 next year..........

yea we didnt really like the conditions either but u know what we had to deal with it. and if your complainin about the field size then u should see the fields where we play OC at moore park, its at least 10 wider. i cant believe u can say that it would have been 4-0, we played on a dry pitch in the showcase and what was the score?? 1-0. and its funny how both goals STM has scored on menard this year were off of keeper deflections, menard defense completely shut down STM last nite. and as for next year, sorry im a senior. now quit complainin about MY opinion, STM got to the semis and menard didnt. at least we dont have to get embarrased like STM is gonna be.

and one more thing, about kickin balls down the field. i couldnt tell u how many times i had to run down the field on defense to chase an STM kick. maybe if STM had some speed they might have scored more, but thats what they lack

Esungoal Menard as a team lacks quality...you talk about at least you wont have to get embarrased...thats the dumbest comment ever cause you know you would love to be in the semis...and you are a senior and you couldn't beat a team with no senior at all...and maybe its that your keeper sucks and he can't catch it he can only deflect the ball to the back of the net

oh and on your lack of speed comment...skill will win over speed on any day...stm could move the ball circles around yall and then put it through your legs and make you look stupid
